"Excellent location, within walking distance of Ambleside, Rydal and Grasmere, also close to the main bus routes.
Wonderful hosts, really friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
Gorgeous property, huge rooms, large bathroom, comfy beds, good lighting, super fireplace, massive tv.

"The hotel is in the beautiful city of Grasmere. There was limited parking even though online advertised available parking. When I booked online, the family room showed two beds. When we arrived, there was only one. The plumbing was very noisy and the shower was very narrow and hard to use. The bed was not comfortable at all. "

"Lovely staff, nice and clean, great breakfast selection, great location, everything was great really.
Only thing would be fewer single serving things like milk, ketchup and brown sauce packets. But otherwise a great place and we'd definitely go back."

"We had a really lovely stay at Lyndale Guest House and would happily recommend it.
The location is very convenient, with shops and everything you need close by, which made our stay really easy and enjoyable. Parking was also a big plus — hassle-free and very helpful when traveling by car.
The guest house itself was clean, comfortable, and well looked after. You can tell care is taken to make guests feel welcome, and overall it had a warm, homely feel.
Breakfast was included and nicely...
