"Very nice and very quiet chalet on a deserted beach. The location is literally on the beach. Ideal if you want tranquility. Just the sound of the waves! Our host was excellent and helped us with information we needed. There is a good restaurant next door and the Waves will provide good dinners at reasonable cost if you give them warning (as everything is freshly cooked). "

"What can I say about the best 4 nights/ 5 day stay at the stunning Uga Prāva? Impeccable, luxurious, relaxed, elegant, extremely friendly staff (Prem is one wonderful butler), delicious food. The attention to detail is on- point, everything from the seamlessly understated decor, to the gorgeous infinity pool, gardens, view out over the Indian Ocean, quiet, seriously comfortable suites, .. I could go on and on. If I could rate it, we would give Uga Prāva 7 out of 5 stars 🌟 We will be returning!"

"Our stay was amazing. The accommodation is very beautiful, calm and peaceful. Everything was very clean and in perfect conditions. The accommodation is directly located next to a small lake and we saw some monkeys and peacocks. The breakfast and dinner was great and the best food we had during our entire stay in Sri Lanka. It was very fresh, homemade and adjusted to our taste and dietary needs. The host was very lovely, provided recommendations for activities, helped us planning our further...

"We had a wonderfully relaxing few days. The staff were friendly and helpful and the meals were most enjoyable. Our room was immaculately clean and the water was hot. It was lovely to be able to sit out on a balcony and read. The manager arranged a great safari to Bandula National Park and provided us with a very tasty breakfast to take with us. On leaving, they were able to arrange transport to our next hotel. The recently extended and beautifully decorated hotel is located in a quiet area...

"The Cabanas was very spacious and nice. There is NO hot water for a shower which is not mentioned in the posting. There is not a separate "sitting area." The cabana is in a beautiful setting but you have to take a Tuk Tuk to town. It is next door to a restaurant. The breakfast is the traditional Sri Lankan Breakfast. Please note that they do not accept credit cards (which is poor) so you have to pay in local currency."

"Our stay at Maya Tangalle Manor was absolutely fantastic. The hotel is wonderfully quiet, with elegant décor and a beautiful room that opened onto a private patio. The garden is stunning, filled with magnificent, towering trees and peaceful rice paddies that create a truly serene atmosphere. The food was delicious, and breakfast each morning was a real highlight—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. What truly makes this place exceptional is the staff. "Elegant and a very beautiful super large villa with excellent maintenance. Very clean and comfortable rooms with modern bathrooms . Natural showers are something unique. Sea-bath was fantastic. The karaoke facility was a pleasant surprise and it was such good fun after dinner, which gave great entertainment to our small group . Breakfast was fabulous. Our stay was 5 star. Amazing place. Highly recommended ."
