"Wonderful cabin in a convenient location for exploring the Quinault rain forest, a quieter spot to enjoy Olympic National Park. We hiked several of the nearby trails, went for a swim in the lake (cold but worth it!), and spent time skipping stones at the river just east of the property. We went grocery shopping in Aberdeen before arriving so that we'd have enough food for the entire stay, as there didn't seem to be grocery stores or many (reasonably priced) restaurants in the area. "We stayed in the periwinkle cottage for two nights. It was just as advertised, super close to the beach. It was neat and clean, and we found everything we needed in the kitchen and elsewhere. No complaints, and we will definitely recommend it to others! It was perfect for the two of us."
