"The property was about as close to Big Bend NP as we could get. The view from the front porch was spectacular (especially at sunrise) and the night sky was incredible. We even saw a small herd of javelinas on the property as we were leaving. The property itself satisfied our needs. The owners gave us great directions to this remote location and tips on what to wear and what supplies to bring. Overall a great experience!"

"There were several good things about this place. The sky deck was very enjoyable. The little "cabin" is cute. The location is great for someone who needs to walk a dog. The owner made check in very easy. However, the bathroom floor and shower were not clean. (We wore our shoes) The microwave had to be moved and the top of it and the fridge were filthy. It was dirty behind the trash and in the corners of the room. The sheets and bedding didn't seem clean. We gave this place a 4 anyway because...

"The location is amazing and situated in between Big Bend and the Davis Mountains. "Very clean and cozy stay! Perfect location for a quiet day and night setting. Kitchen is fully stocked and we were thankful for the provided drinking water. The back porch has wonderful views during the day and is perfect for stargazing at night. I would suggest driving up to the property for the first time while it’s light outside (since it’s not on the GPS). After you’ve driven it once, it’s super easy to get to day or night thanks to the owner’s detailed instructions."
