"Tried to contact host 4 times leading up to our stay. No response. We never received a response or access to the home. VRBO advised me they were cancelling our stay 1 hour after we were supposed to check in. Our last resort was a below average hotel. Don’t take your chances on this one"

"I have never been as comfortable at a VRBO than we were at Bear’s Rest. We live in North Carolina on a mountain, so we loved and appreciated the cabin feel and decor. Everything was top notch. The location was perfect, close proximity to our family, restaurants, and groceries but quiet and restful. We hope to be able to visit Bear’s Rest again!"

"We visited the Green Plains Cabin for a four-day weekend in mid-June. The cabin was adorable, with a storybook old-world Swedish theme. The main level had a comfy sitting area, a small kitchen, and a half-bath. The bedroom upstairs seemed to have a queen-size bed (we didn't stay up there), and the basement had a king-sized bed and a full bath. Our host, Sarah, was lovely to work with and responded to our questions promptly. I would definitely recommend a visit."

"We were in town for a graduation. Great property for gathering with old friends and family. Convenient and very comfortable. Spotless and well stocked with necessities. We enjoyed the front porch, fire pit, card table, large dining table and very comfortable family room recliners. The off street parking was a bonus! Owner was very quick to respond to any questions. We will stay here again! "

"Paschal was very nice and professional and I didn’t have to wait a long time for a response. The house satisfied all of our basic needs and I liked that it had a very long driveway because we were there to visit our family and we had plenty of room for them to park in the driveway because there was no parking on the streets. "Our main purpose of visiting Yellow Springs was to visit a good friend. Our stay was certainly enhanced by the owner's house and all of its amenities, including an outside gazebo. The owner was an excellentcommunicator, providing detailed and clear instructions when we arrived and immediately responsive to all of our questions.
