After a last minute change of plans beyond our control, the staff really went above and beyond to make the stay comfortable, even providing food outside of kitchen hours and an earlier breakfast time. Can't say enough good things, would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Alnwick.

The inn is delightfully traditional, frequented by a mix of friendly locals and their dogs. No noise from the bar disturbed our sleep. The outstanding feature was the attention to detail of the management, in particular re breakfast - superb.

An excellent establishment with very friendly staff. A wonderful fresh breakfast with fruit, yogurt, cereal and full English breakfast. Rooms and bathrooms cleaned everyday. Great range our beers and wines at the bar and a excellent restaurant menu. Not a lot to do in, Eglingham, but I would stay there again. Use it for a base to tour from.
