"We had a great time at Sluice Keepers Cottage however the road can be noisy during the day but the cottage is blissfully quiet at night and that is the main thing. Lovely views over Loch Fleet with a great variety of birds to watch. The cottage is really well equipped and very comfortable. Lots of places to visit in the area and a great Sunday roast can be had at The Stags Head in Golspie with very friendly staff. "Property is as advertised except for the bathroom situation which is not disclosed. There is a full bathroom (shower only) upstairs and a powder room downstairs. I would definitely stay there again."

"Lovely stay in a great position by the river. The decor was a little shabby chic, but we liked it. The beds were comfortable but it was hard to sleep in the bedroom by the road because of the noise of people and cars going past and also there is no curtain at the window behind the bed only a blind, so the street light lit up the room."
