There was an awesome house, very clean and nice facilities not so far from a few restaurants and a small grocery store. Only negative thing was the aircon which made a lot of noise in one of the bedrooms.

This is a lovely spacious property set approximately a 5 minute drive from Almancil. The agents were very accommodating and allowed us an early check in.It is a large villa with plenty of room for a large group . Initially we were very concerned because the next door villa with which it shares a fore court was being extensively renovated and it was very noisy . Then when this stopped a few days later building work started on the large plot opposite . Fortunately this only impacted us for one day but there will inevitably be building work ongoing on that plot for some time to come which some guests might find disrupting. The house was reasonably well equipped but it could do with some new glassware and some regular ( as opposed to steak ) knives. It also lacked any plastic plates/ beakers for children to use or to use around the pool. The property was very clean when we checked in. The bedding and towels were clean but quite well used and not as luxurious as provided in many other houses we have rented . A few more pillows would also have been good as those in one of the rooms were very thin. The pool area was spacious and very well maintained and the pool itself was very clean . The whole family had great fun using in . As another reviewer has mentioned a second parasol would have been good but not essential. Communication with the managers/agents was efficient .Overall we had a lovely time in the house and would have no hesitation in booking it again.

We stayed at this lovely villa as a family group of 10, and it was a fantastic experience overall. The villa comfortably accommodated all of us, with spacious bedrooms and stretching views from the balconies. The house was clean, tidy, and very well maintained. The kitchen was fully equipped, which made preparing meals easy, and the indoor living areas were perfect for relaxing together. Outside, the pool was a real highlight—large enough for all of us to enjoy at once—and the surrounding gardens were beautifully tended. We also appreciated the location. While peaceful and private, we found it easy to get around thanks to Uber, and there were a few local bars, restaurants, and a small supermarket within 15 minute walking distance. There were a few small areas that could be improved. A welcome pack with essentials like water and milk would have been appreciated after a long journey. During the peak heat (around 40C), we found the lack of shade a bit challenging—there was only one parasol, so more shaded seating would have made a big difference. Also, more plastic cups for outside drinks would have been helpful. Lastly, the beds had footboards and were quite short, which wasn’t ideal for the taller members of our group.That said, these were relatively minor issues in what was otherwise a fantastic stay. We made some amazing memories here and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this villa to other large groups or families looking for a relaxing, comfortable base in the area.

Gorgeous villa

Just returned from a10 night holiday- 5* rating! The villa was cleaned to a very high standard, very well equipped and spacious. The pool and outside patio and garden areas were exceptional. Plenty of sunbathing space and places to get some shade if the sun got too much! BBQ and cooking area were great- we used this a couple of times. There were also bars/restaurants within walking distance tho Ubers were very easy to book and arrived very quickly. Communication with Ann-Isabelle was excellent- she responded very quickly and was always very helpful. Overall a gorgeous villa in a great location, I’d recommend to anyone travelling in a larger party with varying needs.

Fantastic stay in fantastic property

My family, friends and I had the most wonderful holiday at Casa Alfarrobeira. The property is beautifully designed and presented and everything that was needed for our stay was available. Communication was easy and straightforward and the only issue that we had during our stay was dealt with within a matter of hours, thanks to Gabriella. The area is quiet but bars, restaurants and shops are all relatively close by. We really could not have asked for more for our holiday and we would happily return in the future.

Superbe location

Superbe Maison pour 10 personnes . Super bien équipée toute les chambres avec salles bains/WC. Une grande piscine des transats pour tout le monde, une grande terrasse avec un BBQ . Grande cuisine. Grande réactivité des propriétaires s il y a le moindre soucis. On gardera un très bon souvenir de ce séjour dans cette villa.

Très bon sejour

Très belle propriété, très propre, bien équipée…l espace est parfait pour 9 personnes. Nous avons passé un bon séjour, avec un petit bémol sur la propreté de la piscine, une mise à disposition de matériel pour nettoyer entre le passage du pisciniste serai intéressant .

Très belle villa spatieuse

De très grands espaces 5 chambres dont 4 en suite. Grande piscine. La cuisine est très bien équipée. Nous avons été très bien accueillis. La personne de l'agence est très facilement joignable et est très agréable. À 20 mn de l'aéroport. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. A louer sans hésitation. Le tarif est très raisonnable au vu de la prestation.

C'est la résidence familiale rêvée. Environnement calme et verdoyant. La maison est spacieuse, lumineuse et fonctionnelle. Bien équipée avec beaucoup de rangement et très agréable à vivre. On se croirait à la maison, tellement l'on s'y sent bien.

très belle villa

Nous avons quitté Almancil hier matin avec un peu de regrets. La villa a été très appréciée par notre groupe: sa situation, l'espace, les commodités, la piscine et la proximité de commerces et restaurants. D'autre part nous avons trouvé facilement la villa grâce à vos indications grâce aux indications de la propriétaire. Gabriella était présente à notre arrivée pour faciliter notre installation.

Beautiful property

The house is large and the rooms are spacious. Very nice pool, which we really enjoyed. The area is beautiful, a lot of restaurants close by. When we had problem with a water, it was immediately taken care of by Gabrielle. There are no ping pong table (was listed that there is one at the time we booked the property) and the pillows are really tiny. Overall it is a beautiful home and highly recommended.

Spacious, seating and deck chairs for everyone!

This is a 5 star property that has accommodation to, easily, cater for 10 people. Each of the bedrooms is a good size, and the two en-suites (2nd level) are very spacious. The well kitted kitchen seats 10 at the breakfast table, and there are a further 12 seats at the dining table. The sitting room is less generous in its comfy seating but it was enough for us. The outside area with a table for 10 and a sturdy parasol to provide some shade from the mid-day sun is a great social area. The 10 sun-loungers provide the relaxation setting around the large pool deck. So, why only 4 stars? ... the 10m by 5m pool is heated by the sun and so it did take several days of 25+C temperatures to warm up enough for the adults to enter (the children didn't seem to mind as much:-)). I would suggest that if you are a larger party who are likely to use a lot of water for showers/baths then you should ask Anne-Isabelle for a potential option of having a gas tank to support the household water heating. One thing that you may want to keep quiet about, should you be taking teenagers who like to be on their technology most of the time, the internet speed (upload and download) is excellent. Overall this is a lovely home. When we were concerned about the hot water, there was great support from Beatrize and Gabrielle. The pool was the centre of attraction during the day, the various food tables in the evening. Spacious and welcoming ... recommended.

Brilliant stay for our extended family.

We really enjoyed our break in your lovely home. The rooms were spacious and appropriately furnished. The good size pool was well used by all. The family friendly restaurants in walking distance were enjoyed. By way of a bonus, we watched Portugal play Croatia at the nearby Estadio Algarve. The only negative was the pool has no alarm so extra vigilance is needed with small children.
