A fabulous snowy experience

Great Stay!

Overall, great stay! Greg was amazing at communicating with us. The check in and out process was smooth and efficient. Great location with few to no neighbors. Dishwasher needs a little work as it didn’t clean the dishes well and we had to re-wash everything by hand. There were dirty dishes in the cabinet and we had to wash everything before use, but I think they were in the dishwasher and then put up without being inspected. Other than that, it was great to see the wildlife and explore the property. The pool table was a great addition! Would recommend to others!

Nice place

Place is lovely and remote. But there are things we were very unhappy with. We stayed M-F morning, we couldn’t get the grill to stay lit, beds were very uncomfortable and hard. Found Cobb webs through the house and the fridge/freezer wasn’t working. Our groceries/food went bad we bought to have or if we had leftovers from eating we couldn’t keep in fridge. The freezer wouldn’t freeze. We were there M-F sent someone out Thursday to work on fridge but did no good since we left next morning. So I was out $100 of groceries that went bad and never got accommodated for since their fridge was bad. Just would’ve been nice to reimburse us since it’s their responsibility to make sure their stuff is working properly before guests show up

Beautiful house

We had a great time in this home for a winter getaway with family. Everything was included in the home that we needed from toilet paper to kitchen utensils. We had a few hiccups in the beginning but everything worked out!

Relaxing Getaway

This cabin was everything we expected. Beautiful and peaceful. We went for a long weekend to just relax and enjoy the scenery. Its close enough to town but secluded which is exactly what we were looking for.

Beautiful, Peaceful Retreat

Beautifully outfitted, down to lamps and towel holders in the Moose theme. We sat in the hot tub while two moose were grazing 100 feet away for an hour. Earlier that day, the same moose cow and calf (presumably) and a male with a huge set of antlers had been in the same spot. Super quiet and peaceful. Communication and interaction with property managers was excellent. Road was fine for two-wheel drive in early October. We did have a little snow one day. Aspens were glorious. Plenty of cookware, dishes, etc. Our boys loved the billiard table. Nice walking nearby if you don't want to hike the mountains and just relax instead.

Cozy quiet cabin

Our stay at Moose Haven was wonderful. The amenities were perfect. Lots of wildlife stopped by to say hi like a couple of moose, birds, etc. Only about 10 minutes from town in case you need to grab anything quick from the grocery store too. Overall just a fantastic experience!

Family get away

Nice older cabin/house for a family to stay. You turn on mosquito gulch road and there is a reason why they call it mosquito gulch 😆 Close drive to Breckenridge It was a nice place and our family made lots of memories!

Beautiful Home - be prepared for rustic

The home is exactly as advertised. Remote. Clean. Accessible to the beautiful Colorado area. Just a few items to note that we wished we knew before renting: We had no phone service. Texting was limited and the only way to reach the property management company was through email. It was great to be disconnected but phone service was expected. The environment is amazing so much that lots of mice wanted to enjoy the house too! We caught 6 throughout our stay. The management company was responsive to providing more traps but sharing our food with mice on the kitchen counters or having them run across the fireplace hearth while we played games at night was not expected or enjoyable. The property is gorgeous. We had moose and deer in the yard multiple times. The hot tub is clean and well kept. We loved using it every day. The only consideration is the cover is difficult to manage and store while in use. We like to take care of others property and the lack of space to store the cover was a repeat consideration and concern.

A Great Getaway!

Wow! The views from this property are beautiful in the mornings! We were out hiking, water rafting and horse back riding but this house was perfect to come home to! We had a blast using the hot tub and the pool table in the evenings.

Private Serenity

The property was perfect. It was remote and gave plenty of privacy, but it was close enough to 14-er hiking and towns for food and shopping. We saw a moose near the property, which was very cool. The house was very comfortable and clean as well. Checking in and out were a cinch. It was a perfect house and location for a vacation. Thank you.

Perfect Setting

My husband and I stayed here for our 16 year anniversary. The cabin was beautiful and the location was perfect. We were able to relax, enjoyed the hot tub and it is close enough to Breckenridge we went there a couple times for shopping and snowmobiling. The view is breathtaking and we hope to be back soon!

Wonderful Christmas Vacation

We had an amazing time spending Christmas here. Everything you could have thought about needing was provided. The kids enjoyed sledding and snowball fights and the adults enjoyed the beautiful view of the snow and mountains. Would recommend anyone to stay here.
