The lake view was so beautiful. I also loved the chairs and the champagne/wine glasses that made the lakeside view even more enjoyable. Overall, the place was very clean, cozy, and comfortable to stay at. I can't wait to go back!!!!!

Pros - Beautiful view, stunning and thoughtful remodel, easy check in, good communication. The house upgrades were made with quality products. The large kitchen meant everyone could comfortably help with food prep. The front windows were a popular spot to drink our morning coffee. Cons - We were confused in the beginning because the house is up the hill, not on the lake. (We missed that when reading the property description.) The path to the kayaks was a bit overgrown. Our parents who are in their 70's said they missed having a safety bar in the shower. Having only one bathroom does create a bit of a hold up with the morning routine, but you know this going into the stay. Note: The neighbor kindly reminded us to park on our side of the driveway and suggested that that we drive through the back way when leaving instead of backing all the way down the driveway. I think the subtext was don't back into his driveway which is totally fair.

We had a lovely time at the Hilltop Lake house! The view was gorgeous and the private dock was wonderful.Check in was a piece of cake and the kitchen was great.We would have liked a curtain over the bedroom window to block out morning light, but that is nitpicking. Thank you for the use of this lovely home.

Had a very nice stay in this Portage Lakes property, house was very clean, all appliances were new and beds were very comfortable. Perfect view of the lake and close to restaurants and area attractions!

Great Lake house

We loved this lake house with terrific views of the lake from inside and outside of the house. The white chairs inside provided peaceful viewing of the lake. The outside deck is a nice feature where we enjoyed our morning coffee and evening beverages! It made our visit to CVNP very memorable!

Loved our stay. Was a great place to relax. I was in town for my high school reunion. Lots of rain and cool weather the days I stayed, but I'm from AZ and it was so nice to be "home" and visit Akron ---and away from the heat.

4th of July weekend on the lake

Beautiful, charming home up on a hill with breathtaking view of the lak to enjoy from the huge windows; many family moments shared in the swivel chair looking out onto the lake. Fun time on the lake-access dock fishing for 7-year old along with relaxing kayaking with provided access to 2 kayaks. Very clean and accomodating kitchen set upvfor family meals at home. Also relaxing enviornment with quick access to many restaurants, ice cream shops, and State Park/beach. Perfect holiday weekend with opportunity to see the largest privately-funded firework show! Great hosts with easy check'in/out, timely responses and ensuring you'reall set for a wonderful stay!.

A peaceful getaway

Work and family trip

We had a great stay. The home and surrounding areas are gorgeous. We had some trouble getting into the house but it was solved after a bit of time. I think working through some communication issues would be of great benefit. If we ever have the opportunity to come back to the area, or know anyone who does, we would recommend the place for sure.
