As the wi fi operates by outside aerials to the poolside apartments, some apartments do not receive the wi fi in the bedrooms but it should be good in the loungeroom. Our area has been experiencing interruptions by the main provider so that could be the problem,Always let us know if there is an issue so we can get it sorted quickly and talk with the IT people.Thank you for visiting.

The studio is a great room for a weekend getaway or longer if you are on a budget. Loved the review and see you next time when you get away for a weekend.

Airlie Apartments has one studio apartment and the bedroom is separate to the small lounge area and kitchen. For singles or couples, it is comfortable to stay a week or a few days. Photos available when selecting room types for your booking.

Thank you for your feedback and it is disappointing to read that you did not enjoy your stay. On your arrival, I explained that I wasn't sure if you were arriving or not as there was a mix up with the booking information I received online. I didn't think I was lecturing you about the office hours and just mentioned to you that I had stayed the whole day waiting. Is it not possible for you to check a properties office hours or do you just assume we are all open 24 hours? Your partner explained on check in that you had been at a wedding on Hamilton Island and came across on the ferry. The studio you booked is the exact photos of the room as advertised on all the online portals. It is the only studio at the property. In north Queensland, we rarely have cold days and lucky to have 4 out of the winter season so we do not have heating as an option in the air conditioners in any apartment. I can't help the weather changing but I do my best to ensure that the apartments are comfortable with what I have to work with. They are individually owned by other owners and they supply the items in their apartment. I understand that the weather can make everyone miserable as we ALL felt the cold for the 2 days it rained and the temperatures plummeted. At no time did you contact me to request extra blankets or a doona or an umbrella. The bed had a comforter and blanket and some throws in the bedroom. Airlie Apartments are self catering holiday apartments, not a 4 star hotel.

Some of our sunsets are spectacular looking out over the marina from Airlie Apartments. Thank you for the review and I believe we are in a perfect location.

The superior ocean view apartments are lovely with fabulous views to the marina and water. I am glad you enjoyed your short stay. As an onsite manager, we work long hours and it is appreciated if guests are mindful of our operating hours for check in and advise accordingly if they are arriving after hours. The office closes at 2pm on a Saturday and I had sent a text message to you to allow you to self-check in. I did not hear from you until you arrived at 5-6pm when we established that your mobile details were incorrect in the booking information received. I have spoken with my houskeeper about the cleaning issue. It is rare that I have experienced this over site with her.

Thank you for writing a review and let me clarify a few points for you to rate your stay as poor. I explained on check in that the bathroom had just been renovated and there are few things that are to be completed but the builder ran out of time before school holidays started. I will let them know about the toilet seat. You don't clean the apt before you leave but you do wash the dishes you use and put them back in the cupboard and you remove your rubbish. That is standard and common courtesy when staying in holiday apartments. It is a concrete building with concrete floors so do not understand what was disturbing from the owners above. They are owners, not guests on holidays. Pillows are a personal choice and recently we had guests that asked for really soft pillows. We leave a range of pillows from high to soft so there is something suitable for everyone in the apt. If you don't have your own Netflix account it will not work. No other guest has stated that they are having trouble and that apt has been booked constantly. Best to look at the photos of the room type booked as it is exactly what is in the photo. I am amazed that a guest can write a review stating the bathroom was GROSS and yet they did not contact reception or management. If the cleaning was that GROSS, would you not go to reception and ask for the manager to come to the room to inspect and have it fixed or check out and request a refund? I would! The only contact I received apart from check in was 2 days into the stay when the guest called me to UNLOCK the door as they left their keys in the apt. Receiving this review after check out, I called the guest to discuss. No Answer. I sent a text message asking her to call to discuss. No response. We have since had many guests stay in the superior ocean view apartment (my top apartment) and other apartments and one guest stopped my cleaner to say 'these are the cleanest apartments she has ever stayed in'! On that note, if you can't speak to management about a problem in your apartment, you don't get the option to write a review and get away with downgrading their business. If I knew that every apartment I manage and clean was GROSS in the cleaning, I would not be in business and I have been here for 14 years. Be a grown adult and discuss it with management if you have a problem.

Your review is appreciated on the superior ocean view apartment. I have provided your feedback to the owner of the apartment and I don't believe the apartment is run down. The photo's were taken by a photographer as most properties would submit and as a 2 bedroom apt at $240 per night for 4 people is good value in Airlie Beach. I will get the staff to check the air filters in the air conditioners and we do check them on a monthly basis.

All our photos are true indications of the room type you book and guests do pay for the room type with a sea view. The apartments are privately owned and I base the pricing on what I believe is a fare price for the room type, position and location. After travelling myself last week, I paid a much higher price for rooms, not apartments, that were basic than the apartments I manage. Always good to let us know who you are rather than reviewing yourself as 'anonymous' because then we can not check the room allocated and report to the owner of the apartment.

Great review Mark and it is wonderful to read that you enjoyed your stay at Airlie Apartments. Most of the poolside apartments have smaller bedrooms as they were built in 1974. With renovations, the main bedroom was given the larger space out to the two bedrooms. All the apartments have 1 bathroom other than the 3 bedroom / 2 bathroom apt.

We appreciate the review and it is well stated that we are on top of a hill to get the views. I like to think it is a workout to keep the travel indulgences in order. The taxi offers a short trip up the hill if you are unable to walk. I will inform the owner of your views however, we do set the room rate to reflect an 'older' property price.

Your feedback is appreciative and to identify the problem with the bedding, pillows, I would need to know your name for the booking of the apt. When you respond as 'anonymous' it does not help us if we are not told at reception or in your review. I can't do much about the car parking spaces as they were built in 2000. I always advise to reverse into the space as it is easier.

The apartment block was built in 1974 so I am continually working with the body corporate and individual owners on improving the facilities.
