What a lovely home, thoughtfully decorated and fantastic location! We found the communication with the owners was super great, check in and check out were seamless. The fireplace on the outside porch was a very nice treat! The home has everything you need from lush bath towels, ample cookware, etc. the downstairs was a great play room for kids, with an air hockey table. We will definitely be back as we enjoy the wine and brewery area this home is so close to.

Great Week!

The house was absolutely lovely—well-stocked and thoughtfully put together. We especially appreciated the extra fridge downstairs and all the small details. We spent a relaxing week there with visits from our kids and grandkids. It was a great place to gather, and the grandkids loved playing in the basement. We also enjoyed exploring the nearby wineries and breweries—so many great spots nearby! Dawn and Damond were wonderful hosts and made communication easy. We would definitely stay here again.— C.W.

Lovely Mountain House

We spent a weekend here and very much enjoyed the house. It is well equipped, clean and located close to local wineries and breweries. We enjoyed hiking on the Blue Ridge on a beautiful Fall day.

Wonderful House

We had such a great time on our stay. There were so many extra touches in this house that made this stay even better. Everything was super clean. Beautiful location and close to many breweries and wineries. Basement area would be excellent for kids although we didn’t bring ours along on this trip. Both nights we stayed, we sat in the screened in porch area at night with a fire going and it was so cozy. Definitely recommend!!

As beautiful as the pictures

This home is the first rental I have stayed in which is as fresh and new as the advertised pictures. The bathrooms are so clean with plenty of soft towels and vanity to do make up. Beautiful lighting throughout the house. Renovated to perfection with spacious bedrooms and comfortable beds. We enjoyed sitting in the outside screened in area, drinking coffee with perfect weather. You must ride down the road and walk to the old railroad tunnel in which you can walk through, bring a really bright flashlight! Close by Blue Mountain Brewery and restaurant has excellent food and lots of room to eat outside. This house is perfect for a family but do bring food for snacking and drinking as it is about 20 minutes to the closest grocery store. We loved our visit as well as our friends and would stay again without hesitation. Stay…..you will not be disappointed!!! Also the owners are very nice and accommodating 🤗

Great Property

Our stay at this property was so enjoyable. The house is attractively furnished with anything you could possibly need for a great stay and is immaculate. Location is also a plus. We would definitely stay at this property again when we visit this area as it provides easy access to Blue Ridge Parkway and Shenandoah National Park.

Beautiful, spotless, and well-equipped home!

This property is beautiful, well-located, and most importantly (for me), very clean! So tastefully decorated with fun touches for the kids like a porch swing and air hockey table in the basement. We enjoyed our stay and hope to come back soon. It was the perfect spot to visit wineries (and a polo match), head into Charlottesville, and go apple picking.

Perfect Spot in Afton

Great house that has everything you could want, especially if you're the type to go out all day exploring agritourism and come back to a cozy house to make and enjoy dinner in. We definitely enjoyed the screened in porch with fireplace the most. Bedrooms and bathrooms are nice. It was an adult-only trip so while we did not use the basement play area, I was able to escape to do some work...no rest for the weary! If you like Afton wineries, this is the ABnB for you.

Weekend in Charlottesville

Such a pretty house in a beautiful setting across the road from Veritas Winery. We enjoyed our weekend exploring Afton and Charlottesville. This house was perfect. Very nicely decorated, comfortable beds and great location.

Wonderful home in Afton

Looks fresh inside and out, very well outfitted with everything you need. Very thoughtfully done with families with kids in mind. Plenty of glassware, towels, and the basics so no need to go shopping. Nice tips in advance of the stay as well. Will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful blue ridge retreat

Stunning home, well stocked and a beautiful place to spend our long weekend for graduation! The decor and home was so beautiful. Kitchen supplies were fabulous and so many wonderful touches that make this the perfect home for entertaining and relaxing. Loved the playroom, little kids would have a ball! Loved being across the street (short walk away) from a stunning winery. Great porch and space for hanging outside, comfy beds, etc. Would definitely come back! Owner is super responsive and gracious.
