Great family Spring Break getaway

We had a really nice stay for a few nights in April. Comfortable, clean, spacious. Beds were comfortable, air conditioning worked well, kitchen had everything we needed. A evening at the fire pit was also great (bought fire wood from a small convenience store a few miles away. Convenient to our favorites (Devil's Backbone, Blue Mountain, Hazy Mountain, Pollak). Also a great spot for heading up Skyline Dr for day hiking.

Good place overall. Lack of en suite in the master made for bathroom backups. Great location. Awesome outdoor area. Good communication with hosts. Would stay again.

Fantastic Mountain Getaway!

This property was clean, comfortable, and accommodating. My family and extended family traveled to afton for the winery and snow tubing. While the weather didnt play along, there was no shortage of fun things to do both on and off of the property. The kids had a great time with the games, there were multiple TVs for those that didn’t want to watch the same thing and the kitchen was fully stocked. It was an amazing easy experience. Highly recommend this house for your next vacation.

Comfortable Stay

Our group of friends gathered here to tour the local wineries/breweries for Labor Day weekend. Very close to a special few and able to be a pickup spot for the wine tour services. Highly recommend and communication with the host was very quick.

Beautiful Home off Brew Ridge Trail

Overall we were very pleased with the property. Everything was clean and in good order when we arrived and the house was easy to find even while being on a back road. The three bedrooms upstairs were great and the bunk room downstairs was wonderful for our two kids. They had their own TV and tons of games along with what we brought ourselves. I communicated with the host to understand how to use the mini-split which was very easy. We loved the fireplace in the front room. Even though it was chilly we all had time to enjoy the beautiful deck and we had a small bonfire in the driveway while looking up at the moon and stars. We were able to see deer and a rafter of turkey's walk across the property and down the opposing ledge! That was pretty cool. On the night of the bonfire we also heard howling and didn't know if it was dogs or wolves or what. That was awesome! The house is well situated close to breweries, wineries, fun activities, and a short drive to Charlottesville which we did twice. I highly recommend this property.

2 family get away

The house was perfect for our group of 3 adults and 6 teenagers. Kids loved having their own space in the basement and the adults loved that the house was large enough upstairs to have their own peace. Great family meals at the large dining table and hanging out on the deck as a group was awesome. Adults were able to get away and enjoy the local breweries and distilleries too and Wintergreen is very close for 3 days worth of skiing. Great ski get away!!

Great Place for a getaway!

The house was great for our 2 family retreat. The downstairs playroom, acreage,and bunk beds were just what the kids wanted. I would stay here again. Ryan the kids went was very helpful and thorough.

Great Thanksgiving Getaway!

Beautiful property perfect for two families with 7 children (ages 8-15). Everyone had a great time and loved the house! Ryan was a great host, answering all questions and was very accommodating. We would definitely rent this property or another of Ryan's!

Great extended weekend with friends.

Ryan was very easy to communicate with. Property was clean and located perfectly to hit all our destinations along Rt. 151. The abundance of games on the lower level was a huge hit with the kids. The sleeping arrangement was also perfect for our group with kids ranging from 9 to 12. Highly recommend. Would book again. Thanks Ryan for a smooth process and a great weekend.

Weekend Getaway in Afton

I had a great experience at this property, it was clean, had plenty of amenities, and is located in the woods making for a secluded getaway from a large city, but still has plenty of wineries, breweries, and a close proximity (within 30 minutes) to neighboring areas such as Charlottesville and Crozet.

Awesome location and space

Excellent Property

We were in the area for a family wedding at a winery. Everything was perfect for our family of 8 adults and 3 babies. We had plenty of space for our group. The house is in a great location. Easy drive to everything. It is beautifully decorated and very comfortable with three living areas and two outdoor decks. Ryan was a pleasure to rent from. We would rent here again!
