Beautiful place with all the amenities of home. The location was perfect! Walking distance to the tram, bars, restaurants, and grocery stores. Highly recommend.

Christmas Holiday

Love staying here. It feels like coming home. Love how it is so close to Jetty Road and the different restaurants. Hopefully, will get to stay again.

Great place to stay in every way.

This place was Great in alot of ways. Great location to shops, café ,beach and transport. It was great dealing with management. It was clean and we'll presented. Loved our time in Glenelg.

We truly enjoyed staying here. We were pleasantly surprised at the excellent location and spaciousness of this wonderful property - photos don't do it justice! I especially loved the high ceilings, wooden floors and original features of the old Villa, and nothing was lacking in the tastefully upgraded kitchen. The host was responsive and helpful. Highly recommended.

The Chittleborough was an amazing place to stay. It was clean, and suited our needs as a family of four. Due to local works there were roadworks going on until early hours of the morning on several nights which disturbed the otherwise peaceful rest. Costa the owner came very promptly when the door code would not work. Overall a great place to stay - very close to amenities and the beach and hopefully when the local regeneration works are done the trams and transport will be running.

Great property and location

This propoerty is delightful: a renovated early 20th century cottage in the heart of Glenelg with heaps of character and all the mod cons. Particularly good is the central A/C which is unobtrusive and very welcome in the Adelaide summer. Accommodation was ideal for our group of two couples, but both bedrooms can be converted from douible to twin if need be. The large kitchen/living area is well appointed with a large dining table and all cooking facilities, including basic pantry supplies. Athough there is only one bathroom it is equipped with washing facilities as well. There is a parking place on site although getting to it is a little tortuous. Withthe great public trasnport avaible almost at the door we used the car only for trips out of town. The only negatives is there is little outdoor space - a small patio in the front and a bit of street noise in the front bedroom. Communication with our host Costa was great. Special mention ot the Zest cafe across the road that supplies a great morning brew and a delicious full breakfast if required. The cop shop is also across the road so it never gets too rowdy!

Ideally located cottage close to beach

Enjoyed the accomodation and it’s location, close to public transport, bars, cafes, beach, etc. would definitely recommend this rental to family and friends.

Cool as a cucumber

The chittleborough has exactly what you need in a holiday house. It has a great location and the aircon keeps the house cool no matter what temperature it is outside

Well equipped property in an excellent location.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property, the location is excellent, very close walking distance to just about all major attractions on Jetty Rd, including the tram stop and beach front. The unit is very well equipped with quality crockery and silverware. The only reason we didn't give 5 stars was due to some noise from events held in the lane-way literally right outside the front door, it would be worth checking if there are any planned events from this lane when booking! Also the lack of a drier is a negative, and the wireless internet signal is very weak and not usable throughout most of the property.

Great location but noisy

The cottage is a lovely , well equipped space and central to shops and cafes. However, the main bedroom is street front and the noise is a problem. The trams, cars , people and even planes don't make for a good sleep. Back room much better but the noise from the alley way can be an issue. If you sleep soundly and don't mind getting up early, highly recommend it.

Fantastic stay in Glenelg

The Chittleborough is exactly as advertised and doesn't disappoint. The location, in particular, is perfect -- a one minute walk to the Glenelg light rail, restaurants, the beach, etc.
