"Very cozy cabin. Was nice for our family to stay in on a quiet vacation to end our summer. The only small downside to our stay was the gap between the stairs and the porch was wide enough that our toddler's foot fit in the crack. She stepped into it and gave herself a nice bruise. Not anything that took away from the stay - just something for others to be mindful of. Would happily book again! "

"We booked for solitude and serenity, and we were not disappointed. Lots of time to read, paint, and knit. Cabin was clean and nicely equipped. Very pleased with our stay. "Amazing property! The pictures are as advertised but it’s more amazing in person. Great views and very peaceful. Great location to stay outside of Bar Harbor (about 45 minutes by car) but 10 minutes away from Schoodic Point entrance (a must see). The owner was great to work with, very responsive, and provided great recommendations on things to do. This is a must rent for families or anyone looking to visit Acadia. We will definitely rent this house again. "

"My wife and I felt very lucky to have found The Miners Den which is a very new creation of a great proprietor who really cares about your experience.The hand built cabin is gently fitted to the landscape of balsam firs and hardwoods with a light touch.It reminded me of the few small cabins in the White Mountains you find along the trails.Everything you need less food is provided.For a couple in their sixties with a friendly dog we will be excited to get back there and see what’s happening.Oh...
