It has potential as Harry Potter theme was quite unique. But, several items needed attention or were not as advertised: mouse in basement and was seen and heard throughout stay; kitchen is not “fully equipped”: no cutting boards, no dish towels, no dustpan, no spices or oil not even salt/pepper. Listed as “fully equipped” Kitchen plates Were on shelf But several plates had dried food on them. Several kitchen drawers wereDirty. Upstairs bathtub/shower non-functional:shower didn’t work and tub didn’t hold water; instructed to reset escape room by using website but website didn’t have the instructions. Took owner several hours to remedy which greatly impacted the enjoyment of the escape room. Basement bedrooms very cold with no extraBlankets. Several bathrooms had no hand soap. Bring your own shower toiletries-either overlooked that or it wasn’t stated. For the cost of the stay, we were quite disappointed. While the owner was initially responsive when contacted, I didn’t feel that he took my concerns seriously except for the escape room which took him several hours to finally remedy.
