"The property was oversold online to make it look like it had a view of the nearby canal, but it didn't. While I understand the house was 170 years old, it felt like it could fall apart with a false move. The main floor had several chairs, but no couch. The stairs to the top floor were very narrow and you had to be careful going up and down. The 2nd floor was the primary sleeping area with a single bed and futon bed in the landing and a queen bed and bathroom with a sink and toilet. The single...

"This is a wonderful spot to stay when visiting Harpers Ferry. The hosts have thought of everything you could possibly need. Their home is neat, clean and convenient to all the things you want to do on a visit to the National Park. Although there were only two of us on this trip, the home could easily handle a family of 5. I would say that all you have to do is bring your toothbrush, but the hosts even supplied toothbrushes in the master bath! An incredible value."
