"We had a nice large room and bathroom. Spotlessly clean with a sofa. A welcoming array of tea/coffee with biscuits. Our only slight disapointment was that breakfast was a little greasy .
Excellent location with great friendly staff."

"We had a very comfortable stay at the wheatsheaf in Swindon, staff were friendly and welcoming, a bar that was open for drinks and places to sit and relax. Our room was comfortable although window wouldn’t stay open to let in fresh air as it was a warm day outside. Our even meal was delicious with a good choice of menu. Breakfast was also good and the service was swift. a great start to our day. All in all an enjoyable stay would revisit this hotel again in the future."

"I stayed in the dog friendly room which was ok but not great. The carpets were stained and when we first walked in the room we could smell dog it wasn't a fresh smell. There was a half used toilet roll in our bathroom and no fan so it steamed up quite quickly. The room was at the bottom of the beer garden so was very noisy which wasn't that much of a problem.
We ordered food it was very fast and efficient, large portions and reasonably priced. The sun was in the beer garden all day. Staff very...

"What a find for our whistle stop tour across Scotland . Beautiful peaceful site. Everything you need in accommodation. ( I love s/c when hosts leave cleaning stuff etc as I like to leave how I find !) wish I knew about coffee pod machine as would have got some hot choc pods for myself , but hubbie was chuffed with it . Found a lovely walk over the stone bridge as you pop out the end of the park through the trees onto a quiet road.. it went all the way along the other bank and the dogs had a...

"Great property, clean, excellent master bedroom, well equiped, brilliant location and in a peaceful spot, however the hot tub stopped working / went to standby mode and couldnt be used so felt like the one main reason we booked this property and couldnt use it.
The stairs are very steep and were difficult to go up and down.
Ideal for kielder and surrounding areas. "
