"This is a quaint place off The beaten path owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. The chef is great. The grounds are beautiful lots of fruit trees very close to Loterie Farm and Grand Caste. About a 15 minute ride from the Dutch side. "

"Eric & Soheila are great. It's a must stay! It's 10 minutes from main restaurants & has a beautiful view, looking out at the ocean."

"Very close to Mullet Bay. Also close to a bakery/coffee shop and a grocery store. Very safe area. Very private. Not good parking if you rent a large vehicle. Small sedan or 2-door is good though. Overall a nice place."

"The Vista Marina property is very well kept. The property has beautiful Palm trees and flowering shrubs. The Villa Butterfly is where we stayed. The Villa is open concept with plenty of room. The deck is the best with great views and always a breeze. From the deck you can enjoy beautiful sunrises. The swimming pool and deck were very enjoyable. There are good restaurants nearby. Make sure to visit "Bread and Butter", a French bakery. The beaches are wonderful and a short drive from the villa....

"Had a delightful one-night stay at Tiko Lodge SXM a hidden gem away from the resort chaos. The peaceful ambiance, cleanliness, and warm hospitality of the hosts were impressive. The distant yet very close ocean sounds and fresh air created a serene atmosphere. Although I usually opt for big resorts, Tiko Lodge SXM has changed my perspective. I plan to return, hopefully for an extended stay. Only drawback: no TV in the room, hence the four-star rating.~~ Monet"

"We could NOT find the property that evening. We went back during the day and there is no visible number or name on the building. We took a picture after some of the locals tried to help us. It ended up being the building with the guys sitting on the steps hanging out. They did not even know that was building #7. This appears to be a scam! We would not enter that building during the day and definitely not on an evening check in."
