We cannot say enough about how serene and private our stay at the cabin was at the end of October. Our hosts made sure that every detail of home was captured during our stay. Everything that one could think of was included at the cabin and we lacked nothing during our stay. It was immaculate and very well maintained. The gas fireplace welcomed chilly mornings and late nights relaxing watching tv. The back deck overlooked a beautiful mountainside with the most picture perfect sunsets. The hot tub was very clean and perfect for relaxing. We truly did not want our vacation to end. Thank you to our wonderful hosts for being very responsive with our questions. We will most definitely return to the cabin in the future!

The Grace Place is full of peace and grace like its name. I loved how it is situated high on a mountain hill. It is so peaceful with outstanding vistas in several directions. The home interior is so tastefully done and lovely. It is exactly like the photos you will see on VRBO but only better in person.

Check in was very simple with door code provided before arrival. House was very clean and kitchen well stocked. Back deck rockers perfect for morning coffee and mountain view. The road up was a little tricky but no problem after the first time. Plenty of room to turn around at the house to drive back out.

Sweet Retreat

The Grace Place is cozy with a fabulous view of the mountains, packed with all the things you need to feel at home. The hot tub and deck are a major plus. The house is central to lots of great places to visit: Flat Rock, Hendersonville, Dupont State Forest Waterfall trails, and Pisgah National Forest. It was the perfect spot to have a much needed vacation!

Perfect Relaxation Spot

This was our second post-holidays stay at the cabin. Once again, it was clean, cozy and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, amazing views and relaxing by the fire or in the hot tub. We also enjoyed visiting trails and great shops and restaurants in the nearby towns. Bob is a great host, always quick to respond and very accommodating. Thank you for another great stay!

Quaint and Comfy

The cabin is adorable and well stocked. The screen porch was an amazing relaxation spot… for coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. The hot tub was in great condition and the temperature was just right for a cool evening soak. The house was very clean and neat and felt like home. The owner was very quick to respond and pleasant to work with. Definitely plan on going back!!

Private, Beautiful Getaway!

We took my elderly parents to this home for a week. It's very private, with a beautiful view. There are only a few short steps to the porch and very easy access.The house is very interesting and homey! The personal touches made it even nicer. The kitchen was bigger than expected, well equipped with tons of storage as well as a very large refrigerator. There are 2 recliners and a VERY comfortable and large sectional in the living area, as well as large TV. There are games, movies, books, puzzles.. you name it! The beds were comfortable, with soft sheets and pillows. TVs in both bedrooms. The bathrooms are clean and nice with plenty of fresh, clean smelling towels. There is an awesome screened in porch and big deck with a pretty view! Most of the rentals I have stayed in over the years don't typically provide any of the little "extras" we found in this home. Little things you may have forgotten to bring are there if you need them. We really felt like we were guests instead of renters. Bob went above and beyond as a host and kept in touch as needed. Don't hesitate to rent this great house!! personal touches

The Grace Place was a well equipped, well kept place to stay. The cabin was great for 2 couples to relax indoor and outdoors. The 2 porches are great. Highly recommend if visiting the area.

Mountain Retreat

We enjoyed our stay at Grace Place. It had everything we needed and the place felt very homey. It was very clean and had all the conveniences of home. The hot tub was really nice as well. We could see a mountain from the deck. It was off the beaten path from Asheville and a perfect getaway as it was the last house on the road and more remote.

Sisters trip

Everything about this property was perfect. Without a doubt the best rental I have had in 14 years and I am very picky. Having a screened in porch plus the open air deck with the mountain view makes dealing with any weather a non-problem. I'm sure the couch was great, but we were outside until we went to bed, so we never turned on the tv. We would 100% recommend this wonderful property. We miss it already! Thanks, Bob!!!

Weekend get away

Enjoyed our stay. The sunroom and back deck were nice places to sit read, commune with nature. The kitchen had everything we needed. Actually I packed too much. Our host, Bob was very nice and got back to us quick when needed. Would stay again.

Sisters getaway weekend

The house was a perfect place to sit back and enjoy the beauty that God created. After a day of hiking and exploring waterfalls, we enjoyed being able to sit on the deck and watch the sunset and listen to the birds. Even saw a couple male scarlet tanagers and witnessed the Northern lights…amazing. The screened porch was great for morning coffee and to see the sunrise beyond the trees. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials. Thank you Bob for your hospitality and sharing The Grace Place with us.

Great getaway!

This place was great, as was Bob. A much needed retreat for us as a family. Nothing quite like sitting in the hot tub looking over the mountains. Our kids loved it, too. And when an issue popped up with our vehicle and we needed to add a day, Bob was very accommodating. Would definitely stay again if in the area!
