"We wanted a lakeside Thanksgiving getaway and this was perfect! Cozy, warm and well appointed. Craig, the owner responded quickly and was very helpful with the questions we had. "We had a hockey tournament in Blaine, MN, and decided to stay at a lake house instead of the standard hotel. The house was the perfect size for our family of four, and our boys loved fishing, kayaking, and canoeing. Communication with Kevin was great, and the weekend trip went smoothly. To top it off, we have a perfect view of the Northern Lights from the end of the dock."

"We stayed here over Christmas and had a lovely time in this cozy cabin. The kitchen was great, had everything we needed, and the living room and dining room were spacious enough for the eight of us. Racheal was right there within seconds to any question we may have had. This place and owner are the real deal for a place to stay."

"Even though it rained the entire weekend, we enjoyed our stay! The fireplace was wonderful to come back to after a day out and about. The cabin is cozy and clean and had everything we needed. Our only regret was not being able to use the deck or get down to the lake because of the weather! Also appreciated the text from the owners before we got there to let us know to contact them if we needed anything."

"Invited our family to share Wild West Days with us. We all found this perfectly imperfect cabin to be on a sandy bottom lake, with easy fishing, and fabulous views. The comfort of grandpa’s cabin in every aspect. It was like grandpa was at home and lended you his cabin. It was stocked with the swim trunks you forgot to pack. The shallow lake gets warmer early, go swimming!! The dock is perfect for fishing. The canoe and 2 man paddle boat were perched waiting for us to slip them into the water....

Home away from home
"This is my preferred choice whenever I need some time to myself, be it a night or longer. For awhile it felt like a second home to me. Despite being bustling with activity, the management is exceptional. The friendly and professional demeanor of the staff, along with the impeccable maintenance of the premises, is evident. You won’t find any unpleasant odors, and the cozy beds adorned with contemporary linens, ample pillows, and need I say well-maintained furniture. I love having a desk to do my work it adds to the comfort. The staff seemed to always be ready to assist with any queries you may have anytime of the day or night. "
