We had a great stay in a spacious condo. Lovely ocean views and staff at Bahia Suites so kind and helpful. The only downside for us was the lack of air con in the middle bedroom. It was so hot that our granddaughter had to sleep with her parents in the back bedroom.

Great Location with a view of the beach and a quick walk to town!

Incredible view, fabulous location

We enjoyed our stay immensely. The view from the balcony is every bit as incredible as the photos proclaim! The place is well equipped with everything we needed. Our on-site host,Carmen was communicative and helpful with suggestions. She was ever so helpful with a medical challenge that arose while we were there. We would definitely return!

The place is a gem!

Location is great! Short distance to literally anywhere. Staff is great and helpful! The place itself is a gem, just needs a little love. It has a speechless view, just wish the other rooms had A/C, besides that everything was pretty much nice for the price rate.

Great place from which to enjoy Zihua

This was our third time in this condo in Baja Suites and it was, as usual, an excellent experience. We spent a lot of time enjoying the view overlooking the bay and the beach. The walk to town is easy and interesting. Carmen, the property manager is extremely pleasant and helpful.

Terrific Place

Really exceptional location right above the beach. Very well appointed kitchen- everything from plates to cooking pots- we had a great time there. Yes the place might need a few repairs but nothing substantial. Everything works. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Incredible view

Loved the open air property. View unbelievable to wake up to every day. Property Staff very friendly and helpful. Some of the decor is a bit dated but didn’t bother us we like the Mexican flair. Stocked kitchen. Would love to go back.

Can't Beat The View!

Our 2nd time in this unit...4th in the building. The location is perfect - walk to LaRopa and walk to town. The view is amazing - unobstructed view of the entire bay...best enjoyed at night with a drink! Owner is super easy to contact and quick to respond to questions. Was flexible with our check out time as well. The onsite staff are friendly and helpful. Would not hesitate to return.

Didn't Want to Leave

I'd like to leave a bad review so as to increase the likelihood of this unit being available next time we make our way back. But of course, that would be unfair to all involved. ;-) Everything about this place worked well for us. The view is real. Thew owners are responsive and the property manager (fluent in at least Spanish and English) is available and attentive. The shared pool is always clean and beach access is one building over. Great location and great unit. Would definitely go back.

Not a great Customer Service

The location is not accessible to adults; you have to climb stairs, there is no elevator, there is no parking or air conditioning, there is no daily cleaning service, you have to take out the trash, and the person in charge of receiving reservations receives you rudely. And besides, the manager came to check when we were not in the apartment yet, as if to see if there were more people than we had said. We understand that some information is on the listing but not all of it. The people responded angrily when we got lost and didn't find the place and called for directions. We got upset also because the plane was late and we arrived later than expected.

The property is in in a great area. Close to restaurants and town. The apartment itself needs ALOT of updating. For starters it only has 1 air conditioner and it’s in the back bedroom so the place is really only good for 2 people since it’s so hot that you can’t sleep at night in the other bedrooms. They need to put in another air conditioner in the 2nd bedroom. They say leave the door open in the back bedroom with the air conditioner off and open the patio doors and let the air flow but it’s so noisy in the morning you can’t do that. The drain in the master bedroom shower stunk like sewage every time you used it. It’s not a 3bedroom because you can’t sleep in any other bedrooms except the back bedroom. Property owner needs to do some work on this property.

Construction under stated!

Aging property that needs a little love and money. Perhaps both are underway...i believe my brother and I were the only guests for the week. All other units were being renovated. Minor noise at 7am, major noise at 8. About the construction....we were told a few days before we arrived that there was some street construction. The reality: Less than 50 feet away from the master bedroom, major excavation was underway! The dirt road had a pipe replacement project that substantially closed the road with a 3 foot wide by 4 feet deep open ditch. The challenges of all the construction, mud, materials, noise were a bit extreme but... After the unit is renovated it will be everything promised and more! The location and beautiful views cannot be overstated. Management and security was as helpful as anyone could ask. This property is a true diamond in the rough!

Amazing view

Very smoothly done. Alot of concerns because of covid. But had nothing to worry about. Good location, excellent view of the beach. Hill on either side gave us a good workout to help burn off the beers and margaritas. Overall a great area, close to everything we could need, 15 min walk at the most. Thanks for the great time, hope to repeat in the future.

Outstanding location and view

The property was exactly as listed. The view and the sounds of the ocean waves at night was wonderful. Check in with Carmen was easy and timely. Everyone who works at the property was very nice. The pool was clean and we always had chairs available. The only negatives were the barking neighborhood dogs at night, lower water pressure in the two showers and occasionally a sewer smell from the shower drains. The owner did provided drain covers in the shower that helped.

Bay views and sea breezes

The condo is up two flights of stairs and upon entry, you are greeted with the spectacular view and cool ocean breezes! The kitchen/living/dining areas have everything you need for a longer stay. Of the 3 bedrooms, only one has AC. The front bedroom with the best view has fans and en suite bathroom, but no AC and curtains for privacy. The pool is delightful. Carmen the property manager is very accessible and speaks English fluently. The building is very secure and the neighborhood feels very safe. You can walk to nearly everything and taxis are cheap if you’re too tired to walk!

Lovely beach view

Overall, had a lovely time. Great communication with property manager, property well kept. Our big disappointment is that we understood from the ad that pool was not shared with other units. Pool is shared and not always open - evenings and early morning. We also weren’t clear from ad that only one room has air conditioning. Beach was also more crowded than we had hoped on weekends. Overall, rental was a good value but we won’t be returning.

Beautiful View!

We LOVED our stay here & they have everything you need in the kitchen. This condo is great & has a Beautiful panoramic view & is walking distance to town & the pier.. There's a little store a couple doors down, too. Nice pool & everyone we met staying here was very nice. We felt safe with the locked security gate & Doormen, plus there's a safe in 1 of the bedrooms. There's a couple of restaurants on the beach & we would buy some drinks/appetizers & use their chairs. Tons of restaurants down the hill, to the left on Adelita Street. We would stay here again!

Wonderful stay!

This place was amazing! The view was stunning, the condo was perfect for what we needed, and it is centrally located to a lot of great restaurants. Working with Carmen was great and she went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. We would love to come back soon! Thank you for such a great stay!

Family vacation

Family vacation with our 2 young adult children. We typically do all inclusive type vacations but with the current times decided to try a VRBO. The location to the beach and the city was perfect. It was also a nice option to have the pool. Would definitely recommend.
