Property was in a quiet location central to be able to get to anywhere on the island. The owners were most helpful and had some lovely welcome goodies waiting for us on arrival which was most appreciated. The villa was lovely especially the sheltered area to enjoy time from the midday sun. Thank you

We loved the island of Zakynthos! The hosts were very responsive. Check in was super easy and they provided a nice welcome kit (bottle of wine, a few eggs, etc). We checked in during a heat wave so it took a full day for the upstairs bedrooms to cool down, but after that, the AC worked well. It was nice having the pool and grill to enjoy after days of exploring.

Gorgeous family villa

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Ella. It had everything we could have needed. Pool is fantastic, kids were in it constantly. We did hire a car, as we were a bit too far from the beach / restaurants to walk, but this meant we we able to drive all over the island exploring. Highly recommend Villa Ella and Zante for a family holiday.

Paradise on the island

A very quiet neighbourhood that I enjoyed throughly with my friends. The property suited all our needs, one thing I will mention is the shower drain doesn’t drain properly and if shower exceeds 3-5 mins, it will flood the bathroom floor going under the door into the hallway. Close to the beach and the strip was a perk as we were looking for a nightlife experience. I would definitely come visit again!

Aufenthalt Villa Ella Juni 2024

Der Aufenthalt in der Villa Ella war gut, während der einen Woche unseres Urlaubes hatten wir allerdings das Pech das die Wasserpumpe kaputt ging und wir dadurch ( WC + Dusche )Einschränkungen hatten. Es wurde mehrfach repariert und zum Schluss mußte die Pumpe getauscht werden.

Lovely Villa

We booked 9 nights July 2025 for a family of 5. The villa was very easy to drive to, with the directions given. Arrived at the villa at night,there was a welcome items on arrival. Tea, coffee, bread ect. Which was very nice and needed. The villa was very spacious, we decided to bring the matress from downstairs and put it in the main bedroom. Which worked well for us. The villa is extremely close to the airport , where you xan watch the planes fly over and land. But its not noisy or interfere with the villa.The pool is lovely and wide, but would be alot better if deeper. The villa is 4 mins drive to the neareast beach and 6 mins to laganas or kalamaki. You definitely need a car or some sort of transport. The beach is to far to walk. I would say about 30 mins in 40 degree heat.We travelled around and found it easy to get to lots of places. Especially the cat cafe in Kalamaki. In all i would recommend Villa Ella.

Great villa, exceptionally equipped

Fabulous villa - down to the sharp knives, tupperware, kitchen cupboard essentials etc. Lovely icy aircon in open plan area and twin room, much needed respite from the 36degrees! Great pool area and outside areas. Fantastic location to explore the island, although we did find the litter in the laganas area quite troubling compared with other parts of the island. Used Fotis car hire, very helpful chap and convenient. We definitely needed a car, just for ease and convenience. Our only minor downsides were the pool being so shallow (so the water was very warm) and the main bedroom aircon wasnt as good as the other rooms. We would definitely stay again, fantastic place all in all. Olive Garden and Island were nice for food - Island do great margaritas! And the lovely christina recommended lots of great places for us to visit. Olive Garden do free starters 5-8 if purchasing an alcoholic drink. Our favourite restaurant hands down was Vintage Steakhouse in Kalamaki, stunning food and great service. Koukis at St Niks beach excellent too. Thank you to the Villa Ella hosts, we had a GREAT holiday there :)

Mooie en gezellige vakantie villa

Wij zijn met een groep van 4 personen in villa Ella verbleven. Het is een mooie en schone villa. Echt genieten met een eigen zwembad. De villa is gelegen in een rustige buurt. Wel wat afgelegen, maar we hebben scooters gehuurd en we zijn daarmee het hele eiland rondgereden. Echt een aanrader!

Great place to stay

Lovely villa in great area for getting around island.we hired a car for our stay so got to see all around the island.ate out in the evening which was lovely.paul the pool guy was a great guy.we stayed in August so it was very hot. I would recommend car hire if you come then as too hot to walk anywhere.great pool and super air on.we all had a great time at villa Ella and would highly recommend booking this place.

Villa Ella

Just returned from a 10 day holiday in Villa Ella, we found the villa and pool area very nice & spacious, the only thing was the foisty smell in the kitchen cupboards and draws!! Before booking the villa we read the reviews which said that you didn’t need a car, but you did, the villa is located between 2 towns, Laganas & Kalamaki and these are too far to walk to, which meant getting taxis to & fro. The area round the villa is a bit run down, with no lighting along the roads, which made it a bit worrying walking about on a night time, especially when there are dead rats on the road!! We couldn’t fault the villa and all the management team for being so efficient and being on hand if we needed them, but don’t think we will be returning to Zante.

Lovely Villa Ella

Great place to stay it is a little remote so definitely hire a car. Villa facilities were great. Only slight negative was the kitchen units smelled a little bit foisty. If you like the peace and quiet of your own space in lovely surroundings you can’t go wrong here

Absolutely lovely villa

The villa and its facilities were perfect. It is quite close to the airport so you can hear some aircraft noise but it is not so intrusive. Otherwise it is a very peaceful area. We found 3 very good restaurants within a 20 minute walk so were very happy!

Beautiful villa on a lovely island

I would like to say a big thank you to David and the management team for our lovely stay at villa Ella. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Denise and Paul were very helpful which made our stay even more pleasant. We found the villa very spacious, comfortable, clean and well equipped. The pool and the BBQ are fantastic. It was also great to have a washing machine and Wi-Fi! The villa is the perfect distance from Laganas; not too close and not too far. Taxis are freely available too. (We generally walked to Laganas in the morning and caught taxis back later in the day) I highly recommend villa Ella and hope to return one day.

A home from home

Upon arrival (too early, due to flight times), we met Denise who was cleaning the property etc. she kindly dropped us off into town, we hired a car straight away and had lunch. Villa Ella is lovely, a nice little welcome package in the fridge and tea/coffee to start us off. we all settled in straight away, went shopping, 5 minutes in the car to Lidl although the local supermarket (yes a little pricey) was very nice too. We met Paul who was cleaning the pool and chatted to him. absolutely loved the BBQ area, we all loved the pool area. We could go at our own pace. Air con was great. Washing machine a bonus, so hardly any dirty washing for home. We will most definitely return. Thank you for a lovely holiday and have already recommended Villa Ella to friends & family.

A GREAT VILLA

We were a family of 4 and found the accommodation very spacious. Plenty of wardrobe space. The main bed mattress we found hard but that's a personal preference. The villa is out of town and away from any noise - lovely and peaceful. I would suggest a hire car. There are a few dvd's and cd's available which was great for nights in. The wifi is very very good. The management team are exceptional and very quick to respond to any queries. We have a 5 year old and a 7 year old and the pool depth was great for them but not for anybody wanting to swim lengths. The kitchen has a good collection of plates etc. The frying pan could do with being replaced. The washing machine worked well (the handle is broken off but a utensil works to open it). No dishwasher which funnily enough had us eating out more lol. Zante is beautiful. We would definitely recommend hiring your own motor boat and sailing around the caves. We found banana beach to be our favourite beach. In summary we would have no problem recommending the villa to friends and family.

Beautiful Villa

We all had a wonderful stay at Villa Ella, the villa is fully equipped with everything that you require, the welcome pack was greatly appreciated so we could all have either a nice cool drink or a coffee/tea on our 1st arrival. There is a local supermarket only 5 minutes walk away and a Lidl supermarket on the main Agrillia Road. Villa Ella is perfectly situated so you are not in the hustle and bustle of Laganas but it is only a short walk away (approx. 20 mins) if you choose to join the night life of the busy town. I recommend Bon Appetite for an evening meal, this is a friendly, family run business and the meals are very reasonably priced. Kalamaki which is the next town along is a beautiful place to visit, they have some lovely restaurants and bars, I would recommend Massa restaurant, the food is amazing there. We hired a car for the duration of the holiday so we could tour the island, I would recommend going to either Banana beach or St Nicholas beach they offer some amazing water sports, parasailing is a must! We also visited the Olive Press which is only a 5-10 minutes drive away from the Villa, you can try the delicious olives and olive oil after you have had a tour. The communication from all of the management team was excellent from start to finish. Overall we had a fantastic holiday in Zante and Villa Ella was a perfect base, we would definitely recommend Villa Ella to family and friends and hope to be back again in the future. Many Thanks
