Home is conveniently located in Yuma. Everything is five to ten minutes away. Accessing home was easy and ability to call the property manager always resulted in a satisfactory outcome. Cleanliness in showers, tubs and the pool could have been better, but it is an older home. Kitchen utensils and cooking supplies need to be replaced. Totally acknowledging that the home may not have been occupied for a while and its location, but we had to kill quite a few bugs. I really love tv's in all the bedrooms; not common in home rentals. Also really appreciate the plentiful number of towels provided in the home. Overall satisfactory stay relative to the price paid.

The layout of the house was great! We loved the backyard and pool area. Our biggest complaint was that the fridge smelled like rotting fish any time we opened it it stunk up the house terribly. When we contacted the owner and he said the cleaners had informed him the fridge had a smell, but nothing was done prior to our arrival The owners brother in law eventually brought over a mini fridge, but we had to continue to use the freezer which made anything that we put in the freezer take in the smell. The utensils and cabinets all needed to be cleaned when we arrived as everything was covered in grease or oil. The dryer takes two cycles before the clothes are dryIf it wouldn’t have been for all the kitchen issues it would have been an amazing place to stay

Host was great. Home was ok.. here are a few things :Kitchen faucet is falling off Bathroom by laundry room -the toilet paper holder (right side) falls off the cabinet when you replace the toilet paper. Also there is not a blow dryer under the cabinet that is marked blow dryer. BBQ was out of propane, ignition doesn’t work and first knob spins all the way around. There is mold in the master bath shower. Just a suggestion, garbage cans would be nice in each bedroom.

The house is in a great neighborhood. Close to grocery stores and recreation sites. I was worried about the beds, because of other reviews, they comfortable but wobbly. There was dust bunnies under the beds. And if you want the swimming pool to be heated, be aware that it costs extra and you need to let them know ahead of time. We had to purcha can opener for the kitchen. Overall the kitchen was well stocked. The spice cabinet was dirty, so I cleaned it up and threw out all the empty bottles. We would stay here again. the empty bottles.

Clean, comfortable and well furnished. Well equipped kitchen and lots of extra recreational amenities. Nice quiet neighborhood. We didn't use the pool or patio BBQ, etc. but the pool looked clean and well maintained. We would definitely book this again.

This location was perfect for our family. We had 6 adults and 2 kids stay and there was lots of room. The pool and game room make this a great place to stay.

Yuma Family Reunion

The house was in a nice neighborhood. The cleaning was sub-par. Had to re-wash the dinnerware. There were crumbs in the kitchen drawers and a live cockroach in the dish washer. The carpet in the master bedroom should be replaced. The bed frames were steel tubing and when you moved around at night they sometimes banged. The beds were not very comfortable. Liked the nicknacks and wall hangings.

Great home to stay in when visiting family in Yuma

Overall it’s a great house. It has everything you need and a lot of space if you have a big family. The only downside was the beds. They aren’t as comfortable as we would have liked but were good enough.

Our stay was good with a few minor suggestions such as master bedroom bed needing to be addressed. It was noisy when you moved and the frame might need to be replaced. We were fine with it.

I would not stay here again or recommend

Check in was very disappointing with home not cleaned well, dishes and silverware caked with calcium deposits and feeling/looking chalky, pool light out, pool heat not working, outdoor grill dirty, 3 pool chairs instead of 4, no washcloths, Keurig and coffee press not operational, door to pool needs knob/lock replaced as couldn't easily unlock and locked ourselves out a couple of times accidentally. Couldn't cook in kitchen the first night as too dirty - stove, counters, crumbs/dirt in cupboards/drawers. Cleaners came at 7 PM for a couple of hours the day of check in and then again the next morning for a few more hours. NO SMOKE DETECTOR, ceiling fan in one bedroom had light hanging by the electrical cord and a piece of broken scotch tape -- person sleeping in that room was afraid it would fall down on them. Master bed creaks and groans every time you move slightly. Owner gave us a credit for one night and we coordinated all with cleaners instead of them. Had to argue with owner to get a new Keurig delivered and purchase solo cups, paper plates and plastic silverware to use as dishware was really horrible. I would not rent from this owner again. We have had great luck in our travels so far with VRBO but not this time.

Yuma vacation

Overall our stay was very enjoyable, there were only a few things we were disappointed in. The pool was cold when we arrived even tho we paid the extra $25/day to have the heat turned on. Thankfully my fiancé is a fixer and worked with the property manager to turn the heat on but it did keep turning off and eventually wouldn't turn back on. The BBQ was left very dirty so we had to clean it well before we could use it and there was no basic Mr. Coffee type coffee maker so we drank instant coffee which was fine once i purchased a nicer Italian instant espresso powder. The house itself was very clean and our kids had so much fun playing in the pool once it warmed up, they loved ping pong, pool and foosball tables too!! The 5 days we were there flew by and we had a blast. We would definitely stay here again, especially if the pool heater is fixed.

Maine family visits Yuma

6 of us ranging from age 16 to 80 traveled to Yuma from Maine to visit my son who was deployed there. i made all the bookings and requests. the self check in process was incredibly easy as well as finding the house w/ Google maps. the property was as stated in the description & even had a ping pong table in garage that we enjoyed. there was plenty of room in the house for every family member to find personal space when needed and we spent a lot of time at night having billiards competitions. the kitchen was well stocked/clean and super walmart was only about a mile down the road for easy grocery shopping. overall the house was clean (my mother owned a professional cleaning business and is very observant so noticed a thick coating of dust on livingroom stands and coffee table, some hair in bathrooms, there was also garbage from previous guests still in garbage cans outside, dog poo in many places in back yard. 3 of the guest rooms had very comfortable beds and pillows, the master bedroom w/ a king size bed had a metal frame that buckled and squeaked with any little movement, even shifting my ankle in the night was loud enough to wake us both. other than difficult sleeping on the master bed the overall sleeping arrangements in house were great. we paid to have pool heated & the pool was not heated, we kept testing the water over the 4 days & never had any heated water in the pool so we couldnt swim, that water was freezing & we are from north maine, thats saying something

Roomy house with pool

Generally a good stay. Mattresses very comfy. Location was great for us. Pool table, foose ball and ping pong were great additions but outdoor pool was not heated (broken heat pump) nor was it cleaned but the pool guy came while we were there and cleaned it. Place needed cleaning. Inside of fridge and freezer, BBQ, windows. Couldn’t find any cleaning products or rags. Only one tea towel and only one dishcloth. The owner however was very attentive and I just think he needs to hold his cleaning company accountable. Would stay here again with clear prior communication.
