Everything was great. We did trip a circuit breaker but the support staff was excellent and it was fixed promptly. Fun place to stay since it was so close to the Valley. Great views.

Freezing in the Dark

The house is beautiful and well maintained. We really enjoyed our first night there. The following morning the power went out during breakfast. It was 30 degrees outside, so we began to worry when the power didn't come back on after an hour. We called the property manager and were told we needed to call PG&E. PG&E send a message that the power restoration time was undetermined. We decided to spend the day away from the house and hope for restoration later in the day. When we arrived back at the house a 5 pm the power was still out and it was well below freezing. After sitting in the cold dark house for an hour we decided to leave. Our fear was the house would continue to get colder and we were all hungry and had no way to make dinner. After struggling to pack up our things in a dark house we left around 6 pm to begin our long drive home. The trip was a bit of a disaster. I communicated with the property manager and asked for a refund. I was told the power outage was not their fault so there would be no refund. I really feel that since the house was not usable on Saturday we should have received a partial refund. The power was restored later that night after we left but we had no way of knowing that ahead of time and didn't want to wait in a cold dark house with the possibility it might not get restored until the next day.

Perfect stay IN Yosemite

My family of 4 adults had a great 2-night stay here. AMAZING living floor with three spacious bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, gorgeous views through full windows in the family room and access to two big decks, each with tables for meals and sitting to watch sunrise and sunset. The lower floor bedroom is also a great separate space with its own wonderful windows and views and separate bathroom. The driveway up to the house was a shock but a fun adventure for our drivers - a good reflection of all of Yosemite as a whole :) The location made it easy to get around in the park to Glacier Rd and Yosemite Valley. It was a wonderful home to come back to at the end of our adventures for the day, pleasant to cook breakfast/dinner in the expansive kitchen with full panoramic views from the dining and living rooms. At night, with all the lights out in the house, we could see the Milky Way from the deck. We'd love to stay again next time we visit Yosemite!

Vacation

This house has some nice views. It however, needs a cosmetic upgrade(like new area carpets, living room chairs, new carpet in master bedroom…). Also, listing should have stated just how steep and awkward(turning vehicle around) truly is.

Great Location

Great views, beautiful interior and great location. Terrible driveway, a dearth of paper products (TP, paper towels, Kleenex) and body soap considering the nightly cost.

Wedding in Yosemite

The house was very nice with spectacular views. Glassware needs to be updated with enough to cover at least the max occupancy. The master bedroom bed has been updated with a new foam mattress but the bed frame was not designed for a foam mattress without some type of support system. There are only 3 cross boards supporting the mattress and the mattress dips below the bed frame in several areas. Great time otherwise. Thanks

Perfect Yosemite getaway

This access to this property is located inside the park which saves a lot of time getting to and from the property during the start or end of the day. The property itself is very well maintained and is very comfortable. It was well stocked with all the kitchen essentials as well. The only gripe we had was that the beds were a little too soft as we are accustomed to firmer mattresses. We spent the evenings witnessing beautiful and colorful sunsets over the valley and the night star gazing at the beautiful night sky that was devoid of light pollution. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay and we'd definitely be back!

Overall loved our stay! Might hesitate to book this place again because of the cons. Pros: -spacious -convenient location to popular tourist spots in Yosemite -spectacular views -renovated cabin, everything is clean and beautiful -internet access -free parking on property -safe Cons: -they provide only 1 trash bag, and don’t inform you of that beforehand; I have no problems bringing my own supply, but this info really is important when you have a large party and the nearest grocery store is 35-40 minutes away -really poor communication; there was a literal 12 hour delay when getting any answers to my questions -and in response to another reviewer’s comments, there were cobwebs in the master suite upstairs and the trash bag in the kitchen was way too small for the trash can Try to ask as many questions as you can about the stay beforehand to minimize any surprises. Hope this helps on your search!

Quiet Family Retreat

After long days hiking Yosemite, this property was a great retreat. Relaxing on the deck enjoying the sunset was our nightly routine. We loved the view since it sat high and above the trees.

Best view ever!

Our stay in Yosemite was wonderful! The house was beautiful with plenty of room for our family with 5 teenagers, There were many updates including new carpet and hardwoods, new couch and beautiful kitchen! The house was at the end of the road and had a beautiful view to watch the sunset over the valley and stargaze at night!

It could be 5 stars!

Due to limited space only including what was below our expectations for this premium priced accommodation. Area rugs not vacuumed. They swept EVERYTHING under the rug. It was disgusting! The floor under the great room sectional needed to be dusted/cleaned. The best views in Yosemite West could be improved if someone dusted the large number of cobwebs in the upper windows. Ceiling fans need of a major dusting Driveway needs expanded at bottom, It’s crumbling and a hazard, is VERY steep and the metal railing is broken and dangerous, Outside trash bin was full upon arrival. Kitchen needs deep cleaning, Ice cube trays have multiple cracks, Drains slow. Dish soap terrible. Kitchen trash can bags do not fit (too sm) needs cleaned. Paper towels very cheap. The oven gave off a very strong gas smell when turned on. Ran the exhaust fan entire time. Very concerning we did not use again because of it. The table is starting to come apart in one spot. Bedside lamp MBR does not have a working switch. Need private curtains MBR, room is visible to deck, dining rooms. Quantity/Quality of linens did not meet our expectations 6 adult for 6 days. The M bath had 1 hand towel. Bath mat in lower bath was pathetic. Had wash load of towels mid-wk because only given 1 towel per person in master & lower baths. No tissues provided, 2 leather chairs in the great room are very worn, gas grill needs a deep cleaning. Blanket in master closet needed washed. We liked things, just not enough room to say th

Wonderful

We were treated to the most beautiful Yosemite sunsets every evening! They were so nice and provided a pack and play for us at request. There were plenty of beds and space to sleep. Absolutely perfect location to access the park … no long lines ! This place is a gem!

Great Location and Views

The house was very spacious and worked very well for six adults. It beautifully lived up to the photos and then some - the sunset views were amazing! It was wonderful being able to stay within the park boundary and to see Tunnel View each time we headed into the valley. The kitchen was provisioned well enough to make dinners there each night, though we had to do a little cleanup from precious occupants who put away dirty pans. Overall, highly recommend.
