We stayed at Vonnie’s house while we explored Yosemite. It was perfect to come home to - comfortable sofas, fabulous gas fireplaces, and fully stocked kitchen. I highly recommend it!

The house was really nice. Both modern and a little rustic. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and utensils. Each bedroom has its own bath and fireplace. All constructed with a lot of wood that gives it a cabin feel. And Vonnie was extremely helpful and always available with info and answers to our questions. We had a great vacation staying there.

The location and house are great, the kitchen is fully stocked and everything is labeled very well. Our only slight issue is the home owner stays in part on the house, not a huge deal and thst might be listed on the description but I don’t remember seeing it.

Everything about this rental is great. The kitchen is well stocked, the Wi-Fi worked great, very comfortable beds, beautiful scenery from the deck, and the host was extremely helpful. One of the best vacations that we have had. We would highly recommend this rental!

Peregrine Lodge was everything the top reviews indicated and more. My communication with Vonnie and Michael was easy, prompt, and thorough, which is reassuring when going to an unfamiliar location. The lodge itself is beautiful and well appointed. Every possible need has been addressed. The kitchen had every cooking tool imaginable and provided cabinets for shelf stable food brought in. There were storage containers for leftovers, baggies, foil, napkins, etc. as well as basic seasonings and oils. We greatly appreciated being able to bring suitcases in on the ground level since that is where the lovely bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom, are located. Upstairs are the living areas with a third level for pool table and study. The four seniors in our party had more space than we could use, but it was great for accommodating different sleeping/waking schedules. We spent a lot of time on the front deck which had great seating options. One suggestion for those planning to rent. Make sure to print off or screenshot Vonnie’s directions to the Lodge. Our GPS did fine until the last steps where it directed us to go straight instead of the slight left to the circle. Vonnie’s clear directions got us there!!Definitely a 5 star find!!!

Our stay at Peregrine Lodge was phenomenal with every detail and comfort imaginable provided by Vonnie, our gracious host. She provided useful information with her vast experience to be sure details like groceries, arrival, recommended hikes/activities and other suggestions were easy peasy. We had a wonderful family adventure making many memories at Yosemite!

The house is absolutely amazing! We had a group of 8 and we fit perfectly. We did all our own cooking and I can't say enough how amazing the kitchen was to work in, there is literally everything I could ever need in that kitchen. It was super organized and easy to clean up afterword too.The beds are comfortable and the deck is the perfect place to relax after a long day of hiking. My teenager loved the game room/loft area and claimed it as his own area which was really nice for him to have his own semi-private space.The location speaks for itself, we would be from the driveway to parking in Yosemite Valley in 30 minutes no problem. The drive from most of the areas in the park is super easy and my whole group kept talking about how brilliant we were to stay in Yosemite West. It is totally worth it!!Vonnie is a wonderful host and answered any questions promptly and was an absolute delight to meet and rent from. Easily among the best hosts I've ever had!Last thing, the WiFi was killer, we had really terrible coverage anywhere in the park so it was really nice to be able to look things up or just catch up on things while at the house. It was super nice to have!

Absolutely Perfect!

Vonnie is the best host and the Peregrine Lodge has absolutely everything a guest could want. It is inside the park entrance, so you don’t have to wait in a line at the gate and is about a 30 minute drive to Yosemite Valley. We were a family of seven adults and the accommodations were perfect for our group. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and there are plenty of supplies (games, DVD, pool table) for days at the Lodge. But the real gem at this property was our host, Vonnie. She was attentive to our every need and helped us plan the best days in Yosemite. She knows so much about the park! She suggested a picnic on Tenaya Lake to avoid the crowds in the Valley (and the Lodge has a cooler available to use!) and this was one of our favorite days. She also helped us find great trails for our days in the Valley. This is definitely the best lodge in Yosemite West. Thanks, Vonnie!

Wonderful host and home. Perfect location for exploring Yosemite!

We enjoyed our stay so much. The house was perfect in so many ways for our family (grandparents, son and daughter-in-law, and our 10, 7, and 3 year old grandchildren). We picked up groceries in Oakhurst prior to our arrival.. The kitchen has everything you need to make/serve meals. We enjoyed home cooked breakfasts at the inside large dining table, packed lunches for our noon meals, and ate our evening meals outside on the large patio table on the deck. Everyone had their own comfy bed and there were bathrooms in each bedroom with the availability of a shower. There was a hot tub in one of the bedrooms too. The kids especially loved the assortment of books and dvds, and the upstairs pool table was definitely a huge hit. This is the place to stay! You avoid the long wait at the entrance gate as you already have access to the park- a huge plus. Vonnie, our host, was so warm, gracious and welcoming. Her thoughtful touches such as welcome snacks, shampoo/conditioner, facial soap, body wash, bandaids, coolers, baggies, quality kleenex, etc etc made you feel cared for. She shared recommendations of different adventures to take, and we are so glad we took her advise as she was spot on! Sunsets are gorgeous from the deck of this lovely ‘home away from home’ and we certainly enjoyed sharing one with our new friend! We had an amazing stay at the Peregrine Lodge! It worked out perfectly for our first trip to Yosemite (family of 5). The views are incredible & the location inside the park made is very easy to get to all of the popular trailheads. I also want to say that the property manager, Vonnie, is absolutely wonderful to work with! She helped out in so many ways & I'm very thankful for her kindness. We are already planning our trip back here next summer!

Comfortable and peaceful

Great to relax after a full day of hiking on the large deck, and fully stocked kitchen made it easy, since we cooked all our meals, it won't disappoint you, I would stay here again, and our host was very helpful also.

Wonderful family trip to San Francisco and then onto Yosemite! The entire family enjoyed staying at The Lodge. Vonnie has a beautiful place. It is so charming, clean, comfortable and inside park boundaries. Absolutely NO complaints from our family. We all loved it!!!!

Perfect location for seeing Yosemite. House was great for two families (7 total). Kitchen was well stocked and the pool table was great. No bathroom on the main floor. Picturesque views of sunrise and sunset! Easy communication with helpful details from Vonnie, the manager.

Nevada City meets LA in Yosemite

This was the perfect half way meeting point and the gathering was just perfect. The kitchen is so well equiiped we did lots of baking and cooking together. The sunsets are beautiful. Each room has a fireplace that is unique and incredibly built.

Exceptional Home for Spending Time in Yosemite!

Peregrine Lodge is beautiful in every way, from it's location on the side of the mountain with multiple decks to it's cozy fireplaces and fully equipped lovely kitchen with outdoor grill. Vonnie was so kind and welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed for the week, including suggestions on the best locations for star gazing. We had a fabulous time!

Yosemite Vacation

Our family stayed here for our week long stay in Yosemite National Park. We loved it here !! The location was perfect !! Inside the gates of the park ,so we never sat in the 1 to 2 hour traffic to enter the park ! Everything was absolutely perfect from check-in ,cleanliness to being fully stocked with so many essentials ! But the best comment I can make is about Vonnie, the owner !! She was the sweetest,kindest person to talk to .She answered every time we called or texted .She gave us so many tips on what to do and see and even detailed directions to get there ! We loved our visit to Yosemite and Vonnie and her place made it one of the best vacations we've ever had !! !!!!had!manfustowsabsolutely perfect amazing pla

Wonderful family vacation in Yosemite National Park

This lodge is incredible! The location is perfect and it is such an advantage to stay inside the park! Vonnie is a very thoughtful, gracious and very responsive host. We enjoyed meeting her! The lodge is great for families or multiple couples since every room has it's own bathroom. We loved the kitchen - the spaciousness and how well it is stocked....there was nothing Vonnie did not think of! The sunsets from the porch are incredible. The game room was enjoyable with pool table and tons of games, movies and books for adults and children! I could go on and on with how wonderful the lodge is and how we did not want to leave! We look forward to staying here again and hope to catch up with Vonnie too! Thank you for an incredible and memorable vacation!
