Overall the house was adequate. We found the property to be dated. On our arrival the house smelled of fireplace smoke, which didn’t abate even with the kitchen window left open. Several of the blinds in the house didn’t work properly and the blinds covering the sliding glass door had no handle and when pulled back manually fell off their track. The overall decor seemed to not be updated since the 60’s.

The four of us loved our stay at Cabin #68. It was very comfortable and charming and had everything we needed for a delightful stay in the Wawona area. The beds and living room furniture were comfortable and in good shape. The kitchen well stocked with cooking gear. The property was away from close proximity to others, and was delightfully close to the fast flowing and beautiful Chilnualna Falls. It's a drive 45 min drive away from Yosemite Valley, but we enjoyed coming back exhausted to enjoy the peace of the property by sitting out on the lovely deck reading while deer grazed in the yard and clouds blew over the Wawona Dome in front of us. We would definitely stay here again

Wonderful location, and we really enjoyed our stay. Very clean and accommodated our group of 4 adults and 2 kids perfectly. It is more spacious than we expected from the photos. The only issue was that the heating system was a bit finicky with the room temperature dropping below the set temperature by several degrees (lowest was 64 when set at 67)… the property manager said they would get someone to look at it… hopefully it’s fixed for the next group!

Nicely furnished home with a large deck. The kitchen was well equipped, (perhaps overly so?) There were some spices and condiments but suggest you bring your own. Beds were comfortable and the home was clean. Would book this home again

We had a wonderful stay. Felt like we were borrowing a well loved but clean and convenient family cabin. Nothing fancy, but had everything we needed. Kids loved having the trundle bed room to themselves - it got colder than the bedrooms at night but they did ok with extra blankets. Thank you!

We were not given any check in details prior to arrival, so had no idea how to get into the property. On arrival, the property was locked and had not been cleaned from previous occupants. After several phone calls, we found the key and then had to clean the house! so we could

We had a great time at the cabin. It's as described. It was hot during the day and cool down at night. They don't have AC but there are plenty of fans to keep the cabin cool during the day. The only thing we wished they had it's kid's toys. Overall was amazing.

The august weather was terribly hot and the temperature had an adverse effect on the cabin. The two bedrooms, when hot, emitted a bad odor. The middle bedroom smelled like sewage and the master bedroom smelled like mildew and sewage. My wife and I had to close both rooms and sleep on the pullout bed in the living room. The television did not work after the 1st night. There was a text message address posted in the cabin for assistance but android phones do not work in the national park. Finally, the wires connecting the TV were stuffed behind the desk against the wall and looked like a fire hazzard.

This place was great. Inside the park, beds, showers and full kitchen for meals. It was great! The shower heads were a little low (I am 5 4) and it was about at my head. The gas stove was tricky with getting it started. But for not having to actually camp, sleep in a hotel room with 4 people or wait in line to enter the park, very do able. Next time we visit Yosemite, we will look for this place again. wwas tricki

The cabin was perfect for our family group. The location is just great - inside the park but away from the crowds in the valley, The cabin is a bit rustic, and does not have air conditioning, but there were plenty of fans for our use (it was very hot during our visit). We were able to prepare most of our meals at the cabin as the kitchen has all the necessary equipment. We did stop at a large grocery store on our way to the park, but there is a small store in Wawona that has a pretty amazing variety of food and other essentials. I highly recommend this property for a trip to Yosemite!

Quiet location within the park gate was a plus. Cabin was clean and spacious. Could do with some updating. It was nice to have a full size refrigerator and washer/dryer. We found minimal coffee and paper products. I thought it was a bit much to be charged cleaning fee, insurance or security deposit and then be expected to haul out our trash and recyclables to local dumpster.

For someone whose new to Yosemite National Park, this cabin was a good pick, esp. for a small family like ours. It has decent size bedrooms and 2 bathrooms situated adjacent to each bedroom, it has a small kitchen with fridge, stovetop oven, and microwave that you can use in case you want to cook, and it has washer and dryer inside the main bathroom that allows you to do your laundry without needing to go elsewhere. It also has a wifi signal, but take note it’s kind of choppy, a general store nearby where you can buy groceries, and just walking distance from one of the tourist destination falls they have there. The owner of the cabin was very welcoming too, and ensures that we got all of the basic stuff in the kitchen and bathrooms that we need. Overall, it’s a very good and memorable stay. The only cons I noticed includes the ff.: the blinds in the main bathroom that needs to be replaced because somebody can just see you from outside if you don’t cover those gaps below and in between those blinds while you’re in the bathroom, the choppy wifi and cellphone signals, and it’s an hour away too from the Tunnel View and Yosemite Village where huge flocks of tourists go to. It’s not a bad choice though, and we definitely enjoyed our short stay in this place.:)

Property was as advertised, clean and everything worked. There was nothing astonishing or amazing, so I didn't give a full 5 stars, but there were zero issues. Well, there was one: We got snowed in despite our all-wheel drive and, unlike adjacent rental properties, no driveway snow removal was performed nor was a shovel provided for me to do it myself. I had to "shovel" the snow with a sled and we missed our outing that day. Eventually a shovel did show up after I left various messages with the management. That said, I would stay in the Mayor's house again.

The pictures don't do the cabin justice. It's quite spacious, clean and really quite cozy. The community of Wawona was very nice too. We liked having the community playground for our young kids and we were happily welcomed into a local easter egg hunt put on by the Pine Tree Market. Internet service is slow during peak hours if that is important to you.

Loved our stay here. Communication with the property manager was great, loved the fireplace, great location. Wish people didn't know about it so it wouldn't be so crowded haha Would definitely stay here again. There's a great store down the street to pick up whatever you need, that was useful for us.
