"Room was clean but no heating and no way to turn it on. Quite noisy through the night as people going from room to room ( late) Suppose our fault to book a room on top of a pub"

"Nice friendly welcome from the gentleman working the bar on arrival Thursday 23rd October around 2pm, booked in and explained about breakfast, evening meals, on-site parking and what was happening at the pub over coming days. Shown to our room which was nice and bright, very clean and comfortable. The building dates from the 1700s so expect uneven floors and squeaky floor boards and lots of character in a nice way and things that catch your eye. Beautifully dressed for Halloween. "Two adults and 2 children stayed in no2 cottage. A compact one bedroom cottage with a large comfortable bed and sofa bed in sitting room. Kitchen has all you need for short stay. Vehicles kept in gated area, so very secure. Stu and his wife are friendly, their breakfast was excellent quality for price (additional charge). This must be the cheapest pub in the UK.(£3 pint) Overall we had a very pleasant 3 nights. Thank you. "

"La habitación es muy pequeña, no estaba todo lo limpia que debería. Había moscas muertas encima de la cama, pelos en las sabanas. Las camas horribles, imposible dormir, además de la cantidad de luz que entra y el ruido de los coches de la carretera. El baño está también falto de limpieza. Imposible poner el agua a una temperatura adecuada, quemaba o salía fría, y la cantidad de agua ridícula. La casa está a las afueras, no hay prácticamente nada alrededor, más de media hora andando a la zona...

"Lovely location. Staff were very helpful. Rooms are a little tired but they are perfectly acceptable as they are clean and comfortable. Breakfast choices are great. They are more than happy to accommodate any needs. We had a planned power cut when there and the staff were very well prepared. They gave us a powerbank, pre charged lights for our room and put heating on to ensure the rooms were warm before it went off. Couldn’t have asked for better customer service. Would definitely stay here...
