The apartment was very clean and ideal location for York. The stairs to unit are very steep, insure you are able to carry your luggage up and down. The living room area is very comfortable and the people watching is fabulous. The management is super fast to respond to all questions. Couple of tips the keys are located walking distance away from front door and very low to the ground. Again make sure you are able to to get off low step. Lastly our tip would be short showers if more than one staying as the hot water can take long time to come back 2-3 hours if boosted. Otherwise lovely apartment

This apartment made our stay in York feel just like home. It was spacious, well equipped, and within walking distance of all we wanted to see. It was quaint on the outside but had all the modern amenities on the inside. Reading instructions helped us meet our challenges in figuring out how to work things. Highly recommend this apartment!

The apartment was perfect in both cleanliness and very well equipped.The only drawback was the position of the key box it is too low down and difficult to be able to see the numbers on the pad.Delivery vans early morning deliveries to the shops beneath the apartment.

Lovely apartment in York center

We enjoyed a comfortable apartment with great light. The beds were good and we appreciated having two bathrooms. The location couldn’t have been better. We were able to easily walk to all shops, pubs, and restaurants.

Nice property in the heart of York

The Kings Apartments is a well appointed property right in the heart of York. That's a good and bad thing, depending upon your perspective. If you want to be right in the middle of everything, this is perfect. But you should keep in mind that the nightlife will be right outside your window. If you like that idea, this is perfect. If that nightlife bothers you, it might not be quite as perfect. But that's nothing the owners can control. Things that are in their control, like the way they maintain the property and furnish it, are very good!

Perfect York location

The apartment was in a perfect location, walking distance to everything we wanted to see and do. Good sized apartment well appointed kitchen. Even though in was right in the midst of a pedestrian area the double windows made it really quiet. The street out front is closed to traffic for part if the day so a taxi might not be able to drop you off or pick you up at the front door. The stairs up to the apartment are steep so not suitable for anyone with mobility issue or trouble carrying luggage. Would definitely stay here again.

York Visit - May 2023

We had an excellent visit to York. The Kings Apartment is wonderfully located for exploring York. The apartment was very clean and all appliances were in great working order. Beds were comfortable and the two full bathrooms were modern and extremely clean. Would highly recommend to future visitors of this wonderful English City.

Lovely apartment, perfect location

Our stay at the King's Apartment was wonderful. It was perfect for two couples, with two spacious bedrooms and two bathrooms. Clean, comfortable, easy check-in and out process, and quick responses from the owner/manager. It is a short walk from the train station and bus station and a perfectly central location for enjoying York. Convenient to coffee shops, bakeries, markets, pubs - you name it! We'd return in a second.

Well what can I say a wonderful appt in the middle of the city. Only drawback was the bars downstairs. They don’t close early. Double pain windows help.but you hear a lot of noise. People watching for the second floor was great . The city center was great but closed from 10am to 8 pm so plan accordingly. Would I rent this property again. Yes

Ideal Location With Nice Conveniences

We really enjoyed the stay and convenience of the location. We did encounter very hot conditions on entering the property….. opened all windows to the apartment to reduce temperature to les than 30 Celsius. Because we had all windows open the noise was obsessive from local pubs on the first night till 4am. Air Conditioning would be recommended.

Great location, convenient, clean, well set up, no car access

We loved the location and the place. It was well supplied, clean, convenient and modern. Not convenient for parking (and it's not free despite the listing) but very convenient for touring and walking around. It's a fun noisy active area (windows are pretty good at keeping noise out but there is no A/C or ceiling fans). No car access to the unit at all, so be prepared to walk in to the city with luggage (about 10 minutes). The location can't be beat for food, shops, bars, very close to Westminster Abbey, Shambles, etc. Second floor unit in a quiet building. A couple stairs down into bedrooms. Pleased that they provided bath soap along with other amenities, good towels etc.
