  • Welcome to the Cocoa Suites! This converted development exudes quality and makes for the ideal stay in York; be it a weekend getaway or a home from home on business.

    The kitchen area features a stylish quartz worktop and LED strip lighting with a luxurious tiled finish underfoot. The dining area in the apartment features a bistro table with seating for 2. The living area offers the flexibility to have the wall mounted double bed down or easily put up for increased space for relaxing with seating for 3..

    The shower room is fully tiled throughout and features a luxurious walk in wet room style shower. The apartment doesn't offer parking but you can park right outside the development for £15 for a full 24 hour period.

Two Night Stay in York

An enjoyable stay in York, mid-week. This isn't the first time we've stayed in the Cocoa Suites. It's in a great location and quite close to the centre of the city. We arrived by train, so parking wasn't a consideration for us. No issues for us at all.

Great location

Very nice and comfortable suite, everything provided for in kitchen area, nice and clean throughout. Iron and ironing board, even a washing machine for longer stays. Comfy bed. We would definitely stay again. Walking distance to all York attractions.

The picture taken opposite the woodmill gave me the impression the apartment was somewhere else this needs to be removed

Beautiful view

Nice room with lovely view. The only issue was the bathroom shower area have a wired smell bother me a little bit. But I sent to costumer service and they immediately sent the cleaners to solve that.

Ideal for a short break

The property was clean and tidy on arrival. It had everything you could need for a short break, though kitchen layout did mean you had to reach up for the crockery. This might be difficult if you're shorter. The bed was comfortable enough and there was a firm and soft pillow. The property was quiet and the only noise we had overnight were the geese that reside on the water outside the property. Over all, I was happy with the property. I recommend taking a look.

Fancy apartment, perfect for city trip

Stylish and clean place, close to city walls and centre. Clean and in theory quiet place (if it had not been for the geese on the canel honking, but no-one can change that). Excellent cleaning service. The WiFi is slow, so don't plan to work from there. There is a kitchen with basic equipment but no hood, so if you fry something the steam will accumulate fast and as it is a single room your bed will smell like your food. Supermarkets and countless pubs nearby. Around 25 min walk to Uni and to the station. Helpful staff, super easy check in and check out. 10/10 expectation vs reality when looking at the online pictures, you get what they promise :)

Strongly recommend this!

I spent 3 months here, it is really great experience! It is located just less than 5 minutes walk to the city centre but it is really quiet and peace but also in the safe location. The room is really nice and comfy plus a river view. They also provide all kitchen necessities. I have contacted with Molly, she is really lovely she always kind and help me with every concerns or enquiries I have. Also the cleaner team is really nice and professional. I do recommend this place (and agency) to those who is looking for a place to stay in York.

Great apartment

Excellent location, lovely apartment has everything you need! Only let down was that the hot water went cold (freezing cold) after one 10 minute shower, which isn’t ideal when trying to get ready to go out for the day on a cold rainy day! We did try and resolve this on the first day however it did the same again by the second day and heard nothing back after emailing. This was the only let down, otherwise it’s an ideal place to stay. Would consider returning if the water issue was sorted.

Great property and location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment is in a great location and there is parking available near by. The apartment was clean and had great facilities. The bed was smaller than a normal double, though we managed to get a good sleep. I would highly recommend and would look into returning again soon.

Brand new and comfortable

I stayed in cocoa suite 11 for 2 weeks. It is an axcellent accommodation, brand new, near the city center though in a very quiet area, in a former industrial building on the river completely restored, on the river which make all this a charming stay as well. It is fully equipped, perfectly clean, with WiFi, new tv. I would recommend it certainly. The only trifle is the bed a little too small for two people and the amount of money paid for a two week stay. They should offer discounts for long period . The rest is perfect.
