"The property was a little hard to find for us because we came up at night. But that was our own fault. Overall it was very pleasant to be able to spend the night here. I came here for my birthday night before making another long haul drive and I felt very relaxed before the long drive we took. The property manager answered my messages on here very quickly. I recommend this place to anyone! "

"The place was ideal for myself and 4 friends. We were amazed at the view and sound of the ocean from the house. It was a comfortable house. We enjoyed the patio area every morning with our coffee. However we did have to go buy cooking oil, and salt for the kitchen but everything else we needed was available. We also bought cleaner and cleaned the scum off the bathtub and noticed dust bunnies and candy wrappers under at least one bed.Overall we loved the ocean view and location of the property....

"Steven and Beth were amazing hosts and very helpful with local information! Their cottage was exactly as listed. Beautifully decorated, serenely quiet, and very comfortable. It was stormy during our stay, so the view wasn't perfect. But sitting on the porch, deeply inhaling the forest scent while having coffee, was the most relaxing experience one could ask for! "Best rental house on the Smith River! This was our 3rd or 4th time here and it's still our favorite rental house ever. Fully stocked with every possible thing you might need. The hosts are great and very helpful and the location is unique in that is has the best access of any rental house on the Smith River. I dislike the hotels in town so checked out this place. It was indeed a little Hideout. Cute cabin decor, kitchenette, living room where I could have a glass of wine with my family in town. "We have stayed here on multiple occasions and each time we have had a pleasant experience. The rooms are clean and the bed was comfortable for us, we were able to get a good night’s rest after a few hours of driving. Plus the complimentary breakfast was really nice to have before leaving the next day. Staff was also very kind even when checking in late in the evening.
