"A friend and I went to Frome for a wedding, and staying at the Archangel was perfect. It was close to the wedding, shopping and Frome itself was lovely. The staff was friendly and helpful, the venue had a wonderful series of quiet rooms, eating areas and our room was wonderful. The steel and brass fittings and stone work were beautiful. My one piece of feedback would be for our room; it had narrow steps up to the room which I think would not work for anyone who had disabilities. If the room does...

"The hotel is in a lovely location , parking was easy . Checking in was simple and we were given a warm welcome. We booked a table and when looking at the menu we both thought it was a little pricey , hope the food is good. The food didn’t disappoint excellent presentation and quality , well worth it . Would definitely stay again "

"We went with our children, who are 5 and 2. The family room we stayed at was big and spacious, so was the bathroom. All beds were comfortable, and they even had a cot ready for our 2yo. The children had a blast playing at the large play area while seeing the goats and alpacas. Breakfast was included and it was pretty good. The only downside was that, even though they have wifi, we had no signal in our room, so we could only go online (wifi or otherwise) at the restaurant and common areas."

"Excellent staff, looked after us well in bar and restaurant - very cheerful. Double room was adequate but definitely in need of renovation. "Mature" furniture and decoration. Plentiful hot water though despite lacking several fixtures, shower was good. Quiet room despite being on front road. Bed ok but pillows need upgrade. Restaurant food very good and reasonably priced. Good overall for price. "
