"Unfortunately, no A/C in room, which is not unusual, but on a very hot day for England, the bathroom towel racks were in full heat and almost boiling. "The room was clean and the shower worked well (although personal preference I wasn't a fan of the shower curtain!). They provided a fan in the room which was needed with the heat. All the staff were lovely and they even carried our big suitcase up the stairs for us! Enjoyed are stay and located in a wonderful location."

"UNIQUE!!!!!?? in room 7 to turn the light on over the mirror__rotate the bulb!!! I liked that. Double aspect room. Excellent. Everything was spotless. All fixtures and fittings in the room were top quality and imacculately installed. Excellent breakfast. To nit- pic, the toilet was set too high off the floor. One less robust pillow would have been nice. There seemed to be no lighting to the front of the building, maklng it difficult to locate in the dark. I would definitely stay again."

"I really enjoyed my stay. The location is convenient for the A303, but there was no traffic noise. The owner was very helpful giving onward travel directions. The room was cute and cosy, with everything needed for a stay. The bedding was very clean, and breakfast lovely. I really enjoyed my stay, and would use The Cottage again."

There is a Greggs and Subway which is very handy for food etc. also the garage station is a Londis which sells items as well.
