Close to multiple tourist attractions in Ballarat. Loved it. 5 stars except our air con spat some brown ice on us on the low setting. Overall loved it."

"Lots of character, the house with its mix of sandstone externally and timber inside, and the garden even in wintry conditions, which our little dog enjoyed. The heating in the house is amazing. Nowhere remains cold for long! Highly recommended."

"Positives- Clean, spacious, older building, easy selfcheckin, perfectly placed short stroll to train station and main road/eateries, plenty of milk for cuppas. Negatives - thin walls and floors so can hear adjacent people, television could not pick up signal at all, secondary wotif messaging service did not work, there's a cutoff timer for the spa so you can't use it after 8pm."

"Not up to the standard expected from a Stayz property. Advised by Heather we couldn't check in until 3pm so it was 'perfect'. However on checking in, it was not perfect. Property not advertised as a garage conversion, (low ceilings, dark), but rooms large. Great bathrooms. Several trip hazards in house. Kitchen - haphazard. Not clean, unsafe electrical items (small oven/cooker) sitting on top of microwave and leaning against wall. Bathroom taps came off/loose. Outdoor area in the driveway next...

"The property is starting to show its age but is still fully functional. Whilst it has a sleeping capacity of nine, there is only one bathroom and dining capacity for six. It is quite close to a busy rail line which may be a problem for light sleepers. "

"Staff were good and buffet breakfast was lovely. The room itself was okay but the bathroom is badly in need of repairs and modernising. Leaks from basin tap and obviously from the basin itself as bathroom floor ended up with water running across it. No exhaust fan apparent. Stains in the toilet bowl. Really dated and in poor condition."
