Welcome to The Grand – a stunning lakeside retreat designed for comfort, space and unforgettable stays. With breathtaking views over beautiful Lake Mulwala and the Yarrawonga foreshore, this spacious home offers the perfect setting to relax, unwind and enjoy time with family and friends. Just a short walk to the Yacht Club and Chinaman’s Island, The Grand combines luxury, convenience and an unbeatable location.
The Space:
The home features 5 spacious bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, downstairs and upstairs lounge and entertainment areas, a fully equipped kitchen, and a large indoor/outdoor living area designed for easy holiday living. The advertised price is for 8 guests, however additional guests can be accommodated for an additional fee.
One of the standout features is the sparkling solar-heated swimming pool, large enough for the whole family to enjoy. Please note: solar heating means the pool is warmed by the sun and occurs when outside temperatures are above 27 degrees.
Guests will love the amenities, including welcoming lounges, books and magazines, wireless internet, coffee machine, DVD player, and split system heating and cooling throughout. The property also offers bedroom parking and an extra TV upstairs with a Wii for the kids.

To help you settle in, a starter kit of coffee, tea, sugar and basic pantry items is included.

You will love the location:
- Opposite Lake Mulwala
- a short along the foreshore to the Yacht club and Chinamen's Island.
- a slightly longer walk along the waterfront boardwalk to the Sebel Hotel, Stock and Barrel Bar, the Black Bull Golf Course
- across from the Yarrawonga foreshore, which is great for families; with playgrounds, bike paths, and exercise stations and BBQ's
- short drive to Mulwala, Bundalong and Rutherglen wine region.
Getting Around:
Yarrawonga, Mulwala and surrounds have a local taxi service and each Club and some Pubs offer courtesy buses.
Otherwise, walk! You will be in a great location with great walking paths.

Booking Terms & Conditions:
*Age Restriction: Bookings are accepted only from guests over 28 years of age.
* Please contact us directly if you are under 28 years old.
* It is an expectation that guests will respect the property like it were their own.
* The maximum number of guests permitted at this property at any one time is 12 adults.
* The property owner or host reserves the right to decline a booking based on their own discretion.
* This property is in a residential zone; therefore, parties are not permitted. Residential properties must comply with the 10:00pm noise curfew. Disturbance to neighbours, is prohibited and will result in a $250 Security call out fee. Subsequent disturbances will result in a $400 Security call out fee. This will result in eviction from the property.
* Caravans or camping is strictly not permitted.
* Pets allowed upon approval - Fees apply.
* The property owner takes no responsibility for the loss of or damage to guests’ personal property.
* Breaches of Booking terms and conditions will result in the loss of security bond.
A security deposit of $1000 is required to be paid 7 days prior to the booking to the Property Management Agents (Waterfront Holiday Houses Pty Ltd)
Photo ID with residential address is required within 24hrs of making a booking.
(1) Standard Booking Cancellation Policy:
Payment of the rental deposit constitutes the clients acceptance of the Property Specific Terms and Conditions. Variations in terms are reflective of noise restrictions, swimming pools, pets and on-site parking.
Booking Cancellation Policy:
Balance of the rental amount must be received in full 28 days prior to occupancy. If not, the owner has the right to cancel the booking and attempt to re-let the property.
Cancellation of the booking by the client, deposits are non refundable unless the property is re-let for the entire period for equal value. If the property is re-let, the guest may have a credit for future bookings, or request a refund.
If a refund is requested, then a $110 administration fee will apply. Please note the 2% merchant fee and the 4% booking fee is non-refundable. The advertised nightly rack rate is the amount refunded.
Should a cancellation notice be given for a peak period booking, or a booking with less than 28 days notice, then a $250 refund administration fee will apply.
(2) Cancelation in relation to illness:
We will request and require medical evidence submitted for the cancellation request to be approved.
If a booking cancellation request is approved, guests will be required to pay for the clean and any linen used to set the beds.
Credit notes:
You will be issued with a credit voucher for the full value paid on your existing booking. This credit will be valid for 12 months at the original property booked or an alternative property if that property is no longer available.
Transferring a booking to new dates:
Check availability on our website for future dates and we will make the alteration for you.
If your preferred dates are not available, we will contact the owner to confirm if we can release the booking to an alternative property.
Please note: Bookings made with a credit voucher, or a transferred booking, the standard cancellation policy applies should you decide to cancel after the booking has been made.
Refunds will not be offered for peak periods (Melbourne Cup, Christmas, NYE, January, Australia Day, Labour Day long weekend, Easter, June Long weekend, AFL Grand Final weekend)
(3) For bookings placed via 3rd party websites.
Our Host cancellation policy on these websites is simple. The advertised nightly rack rate will be refunded, less the $110 cancellation processing fee.
Service fees, booking fees and merchant processing fees are non-refundable.
Bookings made via 3rd party websites and agents (including but not limited to Airbnb, Home away, booking, Trip Adviser and Expedia ) these fees are approx. 25%
This is 25% of the booking tariff
Guest funds, will be returned via bank transfer within 7 days of receiving this payment from the 3rd party platform.
Guest funds from bookings made via 3rd party booking sites will not be returned prior to booking dates in any circumstance.
How to cancel:
For bookings made via AirBnB, Booking and Trip Advisor, you will need to request to cancel via your account with the respective website.
Please do not select ‘request’ money via the Airbnb platform, as it will be declined. We, the Property Managers receive payment from AirBnB after the planned check-in date of the booking.
How to postpone/change a booking.
You will need to request to amend your booking via your account with the respective website. Waterfront Holiday Houses will then be contacted by the 3rd party website and will accept that request.
On 3rd party websites, changes to bookings cannot be made on the day of check-in.
