    House of Figs is a beautifully restored heritage home in Yarrawonga, blending original character with modern comfort — ideal for families, couples, wedding stays and relaxing weekend escapes.

    Lovingly restored from the ground up, the home honours its original history while adding all the essential modern luxuries for a comfortable stay. Think old-world charm, thoughtful design, and a calm, private space to truly unwind.

    The house features three spacious bedrooms, each styled with its own personality and furnished with queen beds and quality linen (bookings are based on twin share). The interiors are layered with bespoke furniture and homewares collected over many years from across country Victoria, giving the home a warm, curated feel you won’t find anywhere else.

    Guests can relax in the spacious lounge room with an open wood fireplace, gather around the table in the inviting dining room, or cook with ease in the fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom retains its heritage beauty with an original claw-foot bath, plus a separate toilet for convenience.

    For year-round comfort, the home includes refrigerated heating and cooling, plush bedding, and everything needed for a restful stay.

    Step outside and you’ll find one of the property’s standout features — a private backyard surrounded by lush greenery and high fencing, creating a peaceful and secure retreat. The outdoor space includes:

    Located only 600m from both the lake and main street there is limited need to drive however, the carport and driveway has room to park up to 4 cars or boats securely.

    A: Minimum 2 nights; book as 6 guests to reserve the full home, due to extra day-of foot traffic.

    Wedding Accomodation Bookings:
    House of Figs has become a popular property for those wanting the perfect place to get ready and have photos taken on their big day. We go above and beyond to make sure that our wedding guests have a truely memorable stay.

    We ask that wedding guests please read through the following information which needs to be adhered to in conjunction with our standard house rules.

    All wedding bookings require the whole house to be booked for a two night minimum regardless of the number of guests staying. Please simply select 6 guests when completing your booking.
    Due to the volume of extra people utilising the the house for preparation on a wedding day- bridal party, make up artists, hairdressers, photographers, videographers, friends and family who visit we require all wedding accomodation guests to book the whole house

    Our place is perfect for getting photos taken on your special day both in and outside of the house. If you are wanting access to the property for photos to be taken prior to our 2pm check in time on your wedding day, we highly recommend that you also book in with us the day before.

    As written in our rules unfortunately we are unable to cater for any post wedding events of any size at the property. If you are thinking of hosting something on the following day with your guests and need any location suggestions please let us know and we would be more than happy to send you some through.

    Our place is perfect for one side of the bridal party to get ready with full length mirrors found in each of the bedrooms. The bathroom and seperate vanity area also have three mirrors with power points, two of which have basins.

    As written on our listing, our check out time is at 10am however if we do not have any guests checking in the same day we will do our very best to aim to give you a later check out time. We know that no one wants to get up early after their big day! Better yet if you book in an extra night you will have guaranteed time to relax and enjoy our property as a married couple.

    We love accomodating couples over the course of their wedding. If there is absolutely anything else that you need to know or are unsure of please do not hesitate to send me a message.
