This is a really cute, cozy house just a few steps away from the beach and just a couple of miles away from shops and restaurants. The kitchen is fully stocked, and it has a nice patio area outside. The beds were very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again! The one thing I would point out is there is no fence if you have dogs, and it's right next to other houses, but you can block off the patio area with a dog fence, which is what we did.

Amazing Views

The place was a perfect choice for 45th anniversary getaway! The views were amazing with easy access for walks along the beach. The place was very clean and had all the supplies that we needed. Great location too. Close to Yachats and an easy drive to Newport and Florence.

Grandkids first trip to the ocean

We loved the house. Tv didn’t work in the primary bedroom. Everything else was very nice. Loved the double sinks in both bathrooms and the mowed lawn even in the spring. The kitchen was very well stocked with utensils and everything needed for cooking. Thank you.

Quick but Quaint Stay on the Beautiful South Oregon Coast

We enjoyed a beautiful one night stay in paradise. The cottage was clean and offered a cozy ambiance for our family getaway. We loved the big windows overlooking the Pacific and easy beach access the property offered. Many memories were made during our short stay. We couldn’t recommend this property highly enough!

Just what we needed!

Glorious views. Quiet. Clean and comfortable house. My only suggestion is to provide instructions on his to lock the house when leaving for the day. It works be nice is the patio was enclosed so we copious let our dog out also. Otherwise we had a wonderful time. Thank you

Cabin needs some help

When we walked in side we were greated with a very strong smell. I have no doubt the location (right on the beach) and the fact it was all locked up on a hot day were the main contributing factors - it was however a little overwhelming. We opened all the windows and by the next morning the smell was not noticeable to any of us. The location was amazing! We got to walk on a nearly deserted beach for as far as we wanted. That was worth the cost of the night here. The carpet needs replacing or deep cleaning there were lots of stains. But with that said - I still left this place wishing I had more time to stay (my wife didn’t agree). It was comfortable with all necessary amenities. It is an old beachside residence. The driveway and yard is shared with an adjacent cabin. The access to the beach does require a little maneuvering on a 6' or so rocky decline but would be manageable for anyone who can walk unaided - with caution though. This place would benefit from new carpet, new furnishings, a fence between cabins and some steps or hand rail added for beach access. But then it would demand a higher price per night! Overall I was satisfied I got what I paid for and would definitely stay here again. The outdoor fire pit is very cool.

A week in Yachats

The house has a great location. A great ocean view, although the beach access is a bit treacherous as you have to make your way down a cliff. The house is old and outdated but comfortable. The only real problem was the kitchen. The counters, floor and refrigerator were clean but the dishes and appliances in the lower cabinets and the drawer under the stove were filthy.

Obvious pet stains from previous renters. Sink backed up from previous renters and was not repaired until after checking out.

Great house

I wish we would have had better communication about early check in or the bedroom accessibility (extra room in virtual tour, but we were locked out of it). Otherwise, the property is well maintained and has great updates to it. Very clean and plenty of room for the 4 of us girls! The comforters are awesome! It was a great stay and we hope to return again soon!

Needs carpet replacement

The carpet reeks of urine and cigarette smoke. Otherwise everything was very clean and spotless. I appreciate being able to bring my dogs but, maybe you should consider replacing carpet with hard surface floors.

Spectacular Sea View

Clean, bright space with plenty of room for mid size to large families. The view from the living area is spectacular and it's hard not to stay there all day watching the ocean. Our stay had a little stormy weather, but the space was warm and cozy and perfect for tea by the fireplace. The beds are amazing and possibly the best in any rental we've been in . We can't wait to see about booking in November to whale watch!

Excellent beach house

What an amazing, conveniently located beach experience. The kitchen is well prepared to host large and small family meals. Pet friendly with a large yard. Sunsets are remarkable!10/10 recommendation.

Milestone Birthday

We were in Yachats to celebrate my dad’s 80th birthday. This house was perfect for us and our dogs. Great views from the house! It’s quiet and private. Will rent again.

Best beach access.

We really enjoyed the location the big yard for the dog to run and the direct access to the beach. The house also very comfortable and well equipped. Kitchen had everything we needed and more.
