Yachats Dream

It was convenient, right by ocean, so could just sit n read n crochet and listen to and watch the waves n sunlight dancing... Ice cream n coast food (fish, chowder) close .. close to Sea Lion Caves... Everything was wonderful and fully as expected!!!

PRO: top notch ocean view, spacious home, fully stocked kitchen, walk to town, quiet, comfortable furniture, variety of beddingCON: Pillows (too big and hard). Vacasa management so you're messaging with a corporation with no personal touch. If you're staying more than a few days bring dishwasher pods. Bring your own firewood.

Perfect location for walking Yachats Beach and getting take-out from LunaSea restaurant. The mattress in the queen room is beginning to sag, but other than that everything was great.

Yachats Vacation Rental

The house & location were great. The house was clean & well stocked. Our only complaint was the code to access the lockbox to retrieve the house key was incorrect. It took several tries and a lot of time to contact someone from Vacasa to help. Other than that, we loved the place & plan to rent it again in the future.

Amazing location. Love having coffee in the morning and looking at the ocean. Great location. House is well equipped. Carpets could use a good steam clean. Hot tub not working properly. But still had a great time.

Comfortable and well appointed home with amazing view

Had a great time at Patty's Sea Perch... our only regret is that we didn't stay longer. The kitchen is well equipped, the bedrooms very comfortable, the living room super comfortable for hanging out, and an incredible view of the ocean, surf, rocks, gulls, pelicans, sea lions and more. Would love to return for a longer stay sometime.

Spectacular location and view

Absolutely loved the property. The location and view is spectacular. We never wanted to leave the living room and deck. There are dated aspects but it is very clean and who cares when you have a view like this! The kitchen has wonderful appliances and higher-end pots/pans/knives, much better than many (more expensive) places we've stayed. We will definitely be back!

I almost don’t want to review how good this place is. It’s just gonna keep being booked up if I do. It was absolutely what I needed for a restful retreat. I came here with just my dog and we had such a blast. The yard is amazing for the dog getting out some zoomies!. The bed is a sleep number bed and it’s so comfortable that I’m considering investing in one now that I’m home. It’s an incredible layout with views that cannot be beat. You are steps from the beach and at low tide, there’s so much space to walk and let a dog run. There is a little bit of traffic in front of the house so my dog barked a lot the first day, but he got used to it after a little bit. I just can’t say enough about the view and the quiet neighborhood. It was a great place to just walk and explore and you are so close to town. You can walk there in 10 or 15 minutes. Everything about this place, I loved. Looking forward to returning very soon! Look up local hikes! There are so many and all seem to have amazing views. Also, the hot tub….best view ever from the hot tub. Enjoy this home!!! (Just not when I want to book it!) 🤣

Fantastic Ocean View

Fantastic ocean view and house was clean and comfortable. Stove and dishwasher need to be updated. Both did not work properly. Carpet is soiled in a few places. Probably should be replaced. Spa works but jets not very strong.

Lovely house and location.

Great overall, enjoyed the location and the house. Everything was clean and no scents, which is very important to us. Our dog loved the deck and fenced yard. Kitchen had everything you need for cooking. Only problem was that the oven is not working properly.

Better than expected!

Patty's Sea Perch was a wonderful home base for our trip to the central Ortegon coast. It is as described, although I would add that the photos here don't really do the place justice; it's even nicer and more comfortable than it appears. We traveled with our large pup, and I was concerned about the fence height (especially along the road, where it seems lower than the sides in the photos). I didn't measure, but I imagine it was about 48" high -- not as low as it seems in the pics -- and we felt confident about letting our dog run free in the yard. If your dog is very small, there are some gaps that you might want to block. The furniture is very comfortable, especially the bed in the primary bedroom. The hot tub was clean and a good temperature. It IS as pictured in the photos - quite exposed to the road and the neighbors. If I could suggest any improvement, it would be to add a taller fence on the hot tub side of the property or add something to lend the area a bit of privacy. The deck space is wonderful, and it's ideal for wave-watching. There are only a few outdoor chairs, though, and they are all low-slung adirondack -style seating, so if you have mobility concerns or creaky knees, theey might not be ideal. We travel with collapsible camping chairs and used those. Overall, it's a lovely property in an ideal setting. I'd stay again in a heartbeat and would recommend the place to friends and family.

Great property , views, location!! Carpets were very stained.

We loved the property with a few exceptions. The carpets had multiple stains. My sister and I had a terrible outbreak of bites/rashes. ( I had to go to an insta-care on our way home and get a steroid shot and benedryl - I had a bad allergic reaction to the bites). We spent most of our time inside looking at ocean, and suspect we got flea bites. ( hard to avoid when the place has dogs.) Also I felt very bad for my sister, who was unable to unpack her clothes (she lived out of her suitcase the whole week - ugh). The smaller bedroom had NO dresser. I suggest keeping card table, chairs, and fans in the garage and putting a small dresser in the closet. Also that bedroom had tons of dog hair in the air return vent. It was a bit disgusting. Anyway that bedroom NEEDS A CLOSET. Also the TV instructions were not helpful. We watched no TV or movies (we brought lots of movies with us but were unable to watch them). Thanks for the fun puzzles. We built three of them and did a lot of reading. THE HOUSE IS REALLY WONDERFUL but I was embarassed to put my sister and brother-in-law in a room with no place to unpack their suitcases. I hate living out of a suitcase and in fact unpack my clothes in hotels when I'm only staying one or two nights. So to spend a whole week with no dresser was really annoying for my sister and her husband. She was a good sport but I felt like I shouldn't let her pay half because her bedroom was so small. I would still recommend it to others. But it would be better if there was a dresser in the smaller bedroom. Hot tub instructions would also help, but we figured it out and it was great to sit in the warm water and watch the ocean! Thanks for a great vacation. Just a few changes would make it perfect!

Beautiful location!

We loved being right on the beach and right around the corner from the town. Beautiful home to relax in and enjoy the view. The hot tub was nice and clean and a great place to see the stars at night.

Wonderful spot on the coast

This house lived up to all of the photos and descriptions. The views are beautiful, the furnishings tasteful and comfortable, and the hot tub was great! My husband and I were traveling with our almost 5 y/o son. There were games in the house and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook from home.
