"At first glance, every horror movie with a seedy motel came to mind, and for the price, I didn't have high expectations. However, the owner went into our room before we got there and turned on the AC unit and the TV in preparation for our arrival. The room was quaintly decorated and very comfortable. "Stunning views of the surrounding mountains and wildlife. We had elk literally at our doorstep. The house was well appointed, and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was spacious, and we cooked most meals there. A beautiful property! We will return."

"We had a great stay. Loved the location, lots of solitude while being close to everything. The property was clean and comfortable. Just as described and pictured. We would definitely stay here again. "

"The accommodations were roomy, with cute furniture. There were no hangers in the closet to hang up clothes. The edges of the rooms had not been vacuumed, which was very apparent in the bathroom. There was no daily maid service, which did not matter to us, but some people might want that, especially for a longer stay.
