My brothers and I stayed here over a weekend in May, to get some quality catching up in. We LOVED this cabin, and the property around it.
The cabin itself has a ton of nice touches, from the sitting area out front to the back patio that hangs over the waterfall below, to the furniture and awesome vinyl collection the owners allow visitors to use. There are quirks to the place - the steep steps up to the loft bed, the hand-held shower nozzle in the claw-footed tub - neither of these bothered us at all, and the quirks were far outweighed by the great perks. Also, it's a cabin in the Catskills, not a hotel, so expect the occasional stray moth or ant to wander in - nothing major, just a reminder of where you are.
The property itself is amazing. While you can't walk around it (it's heavily wooded and very steep and treacherous), the view is amazing, overlooking the rolling hills of the Catskills. The constant roar of the rushing waterfall below is just ambient enough to always remind you where you are, but not so loud you can't hold a conversation or fall to sleep. Location is great, in that it's remote enough so you're not aware of neighbors while enjoying the great outdoors, while also close enough to the center of town, where the food and stores are.
Adam and Chrissy were fantastic hosts. They were quick to respond to all requests, and had a great guest book full of local tips, origin stories about the cabin itself, and more.
I'll be taking my wife back here in the fall for a little romantic getaway.
