I highly recommend this property for your stay in the south end of Wrightsville beach. The house was clean and located very close to 2 different beach public access points. Nancy was very responsive to messages and even provided us with links to a variety of local things we needed for my elderly father. The porch with the rocking chairs is where we spent the majority of our time. The neighborhood is quiet and there isn't a lot of traffic. The house has all the appliances you need for your stay and the shed has all the beach chairs and boogie boards you need! I would stay here again.

Needs upgrades

The property definitely needed some upgrading on the outside, paint etc. i had a major safety concern for railing at back door. A child could definitely fall easily from there. We kept that door locked most of the time. Everything we needed was at the house. The book described where to put laundry differently than the listing, this concerned the yellow bag. Child’s room was well equipped. My granddaughter loved that. I loved the steamer pan

Good location

The property is nice and in a good location. This was our second year in a row staying here and we had hoped to continue staying here. Unfortunately, after taking our reservation for next year, Nancy cancelled it because her niece wanted the week we booked. While it is a year out, it is very difficult to find good property in this area of Wrightsville beach, so it really puts us in a bind now.

Perfect family beach week

Nancy's beach house had everything a family could possibly need for a fun and relaxing beach week. The kitchen was well stocked, the beach gear was organized and ready to go, and Nancy was extremely responsive when we had questions. The house is an older beach cottage, but it's very clean and well maintained. Thank you Nancy for an old-fashioned, peaceful beach week with our loved ones.

Lovely stay. The location is fabulous and we (ages 17-89) thoroughly enjoyed spending time together in the roomy house and exploring the beach. Would love to stay here again.

Comfy Vaca!!

What an awesome stay. My family was visiting to celebrate my daughter’s graduation. The house was great! Really comfy, clean, and had everything we needed. Perfect location! Right at the beach, minutes from great food and shopping. Definitely a repeat stay! Owners were very nice and always responded quick to any questions. What a trip!

Meeting up with family beach vacation

Very nice, quiet neighbor. Walking from one side to the other….beach to intercoastal waterway just minutes. Very nice front porch. Beach stuff, chairs, wagons. Bicycles to ride in neighborhood. Walking distance to oceanic restaurant/ pier but far enough to be quite. South end of beach is beautiful especially with calmer waters for swimming

Wedding time!

Easy access to house. Well furnished well lite house. Very comfortable. Owner easy to get a hold of.... One thing sheets and towels are NOT provided. The owner does tell you that in an obscure place ( my opinion). The owner does give you a name of a company that provides the sheets and towels but they do not put the sheets on.. Very cute and cozy place!

The pictures can make it seem a little antiquated, which it is, but it's a beautiful house. It is very spacious and has a lot to offer, and the location is very good. The only complaint is that somethings were a little bit dirty, such as the comforters or the mattress. Even so, the house is great for the price.

Lightning Worlds

This was the perfect place for our two teams to call home while competing in the Lightning World Championships out of Carolina Yacht Club. Close, quiet and convenient. We enjoyed the camaraderie on the front balcony and grilling out (fresh caught fish) in the back yard, beach walks, sunrises, full moons and one spectacular thunderstorm.

Pros: House was great, beds very comfortable, water pressure/hot water was great, layout and well stocked large kitchen excellent, loved the porch and rocking chairs, great quiet street, neighbors very friendly, plenty of beach chairs and stuff, parking excellent. Overall excellent place to stay Cons: BBQ grill unusable, dirty and rusted/buried under stuff; dishes left in drain board and dishwasher, couple dead bugs in bathroom. Suggestions: 2nd refrigerator would be nice for 8 people, maybe on ground floor?
