"Lovely property, great decor. In a beautiful spot next to the River Dee. Great seeing various boats passing by. Loved sitting out on the patio. The inside of the house has everything you could possibly need. The owner, Chris, keeps in touch to make sure you are happy with everything. Lots of lovely walks nearby, miniature railway in the park at the end of the road. Short walk into Chester. We would definitely like to go back. "

"Gavin and Christopher have put a lot of thought into giving you an enjoyable stay at the Manorhaus Ruthin. The rooms are decorated reflecting welsh designs. The dining room has beautiful sculptures. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious with a lot of choice. The coffee was excellent. Overall we had a great week end stay. The Manorhaus is only minutes walking into the centre where there are several excellent eateries/restaurants"

"Stayed one night at the Shrewsbury rooms from start to finish everything was great we stayed in room one on ground floor well the decor the cleanliness everything was lovely would definitely stay here again. Nice little touch of takeaway cups if you want to leave with a coffee lived this. Only thing is the pillows where a little to firm for me. But bed was comfy shower was great Thanks Shrewsbury rooms for a lovely stay"

"Self check-in so we didn’t see anyone whilst there but that worked fine for us. The room was lovely and welcoming, there was a fan which was very welcome as it was warm. There was a small fridge in the room which was very handy. What was also very good was they have crockery and cutlery available so if you want to have food in your room you can. We brought breakfast cereal and milk and a fridge meal for one night which was great."
