Lake stay

Weekend get away!

We had a very nice stay. Loved coffe on the deck watching the sun rise over the lake. We used the boat slip to park our boat. Ended up boating to Harrison for meals. We had a little difficulty getting the code on the door to work. But could have just been us being unfamiliar.

Quiet & great view

Cabin has great views, is in a very quiet area of lake. Boat launch is very close, and having a private dock with a boat slip was great. That said, we notice the deck has structural issues that shoyld be addressed, and we did tell Vacasa in our review with them.

What a joke

First, four adult women going away for a ladies weekend trying to just relax and from the moment we set foot it was a horrible. No house number so it did make it difficult to find in such a crowded location. We were locked out upon arrival. After calling and stating that the lockbox had no key in it, we were consistently told there was a spare lockbox. Absolutely not. We looked all over the deck, climbed in some bushes, but were not going to scour the property. After being treated like idiots on the phone, they had Austin show up. He scoured the property, under the deck, in all the bushes, etc. after almost an hour, he found it! We finally got in and the property was not as clean as anyone would hope. Water left in the tea kettle, moldy shower curtain, coffee cups left in the fridge and around the cabin. Towels were crusty, coffee cups in the cupboard were disgusting, spider webs in the house. It was gross. To top it off, the neighborhood was full of rude people with barking dogs. I was woken up to dogs barking before the sun came up. The curfew of 10pm was not acceptable to the neighbors and just talking on our deck they yelled at us to “shut up!” At 9pm on a Saturday. It was one of the worst rentals I’ve ever had and I will never recommend this place. If it was not for Austin, or the minor children that used our deck stairs to get to the road and then asking us for beer (quite funny and no, we didn’t give them any), it could’ve been a lot worse. But knowing we were doing everything right and people around us had a problem, was appalling. What a joke….

Enjoyed the Stay

Easy location to get to. Spectacularly view of the lake, early morning sun and afternoon shade. Compact and well-furnished kitchen. Comfortable beds. Wide deck, lots of stairs right down to the dock and lake. Very quiet location. Cleaning could be more thorough, disappointed to find out after getting there we had to supply firewood. Got some about 20 miles away in Plummer, ID. We would go again for sure. Thanks for letting us stay!

Great location, beautiful view, dock, beach, deck and amenities all excellent!,

We enjoyed it very much. Only opportunities were the shower condition and first 3 nights were uncomfortable sleeping because of heat. Would recommend having a ptac in each bedroom and one in greatroom. Thanks! Ron Anderson

Driveway is steep, plants are over grown and scratched side of my car going down Instructions for entering were clear Love property, view Well supplied with exception of hairdryer Pillows and sheets need replaced Bathroom was not clean when arrived. Wipped down the floor as filled with bugs Picnic table was full of bird poo We really enjoyed the stay other than we would like to have seen it cleaner, screens on windows are full of dead bugs, dirt, torn blind in master bedroom Screen door to patio is very dirty

Would have been nice to arrive to a warm cabin as it was raining & freezing outside. The cabin needs some definite TLC but the view was amazing. It was just what we needed!

Nice vacation property

Enjoyed our stay at this house. It was large enough for 3 adults, the deck with umbrella was a hit and the fire pit a treasure. Nice dock and deck, all Trex, so no chance of splinters. Was able to manage house temperatures through some very hot weather.

Great Place!

Loved being right on the water, and the view is perfect. Great time fishing and relaxing with my son and his best friend. Loved the kitchen and I did a lot of cooking and baking. Living room is relaxing, but if you stay you need to bring extra wood for the fireplace and the fire pit, as only 5-6 logs are provided with no kindling. I was there three nights and only had logs for one fire. It was a rainy cold weekend, and I would have loved to have a fire every night. (I feel you should have access to a wood pile). The bathroom isn't great either, but you don't spend much time in the bathroom when you have that view! We saw one hell of a storm and the lightening was awesome! All in all, great place and I would definately stay there again!

Wonderful location..... wonderful scenery..... got some snow and made things even more beautiful!!!

Property is a great cabin right on the lake .... we had a few glasses of wine out on the private dock.... grill worked great .... all appliances worked perfectly...... loved the big windows on the lake side!!!

Highs and lows

View excellent. Access terrifying. Kitchen and bathroom very well stocked. Window coverings awful; shades ripped, stained and not working well. Blinds and shades on view side...string pulls not working. Automatic trash can broken (someone lost the cover for one of the battery cages and tried a duct tape and aluminum foil fix without success), and there are light bulbs needed over dining table. But overall, a good stay. Clean the kitchen and then the cooking was fun, and looking over the lake from that quiet location was worth it. Wonderful dock and wonderful deck.

Relaxing and beautiful time on the lake

We loved our stay in this lake home, which was clean and well-equipped. The kitchen was great and had everything needed to cook meals at home. Everything in the house is updated except the shower, which works well despite being small and dated. The bed was comfy and the deck was wonderful. The dock was a highlight, with excellent swimming. We rented kayaks from Harrison Boat Rentals, which we highly recommend; they provided drop-off and pick-up so the process was effortless. Plenty of privacy and on a quiet road with upscale development nearby. I highly recommend this rental.

Cozy Getaway with Beautiful Views

This place was the perfect little getaway spot! Even though the weather was cold and rainy during our stay, we stayed warm by the fire while still enjoying the views through the large living room windows. Everything was clean and orderly! Our only comment is that there was not wood for the fire when we arrived, however you can pick some up along the road at the “honorwood” stop. We also arrived late at night and it was difficult to see the driveway, just look out for the VaCasa sign in the ground.

Beautiful view, beautiful home.

Stayed here for around five days and we loved every single one. Having the private dock is such an added bonus to this already great home! The only bummer about this place is that the main room heats up very quickly with the morning sun (something which the homeowners note next to the curtains and advise to close them prior to going to bed to help circumvent this). Unfortunately, even with the curtains shut through the night and early morning, the room still gets rather warm. Which I guess is a great motivator to get out of the house, down to the dock, and enjoy beautiful lake Coeur d'Alene.

Great place on the lake. Nice cabin that was very clean and well kept.

Cabin was great. Nice dock and location. The shower is a bit on the small side but it does the job. It is well kept and clean. I will recommend this place to my friends for a great place to hang out on the lake.

wonderful weekend getaway

This was a wonderful place that was very clean and great to stay at for the weekend. The only recommendation I would give would be is to store more toilet paper in the laundry room. We ran out the morning we were departing. Thank you very much for helping us create wonderful memories! We will definitely be back!
