Use it as a comfortable Central Massachusetts base for Worcester, Boston, and Providence trips, college and hospital visits, or a relaxed lakefront reset.

📐 Size: This is a classic Worcester lake house, modernly updated. Comfortable and thoughtfully set up, but not a sprawling mansion. Your private space (Unit 1) is approximately 1,300 sq ft across two floors.

🅿️ Parking: 2-3 cars in the driveway + ample street parking along the front sidewalk.

• 2nd floor: 4 bedrooms + full bath

Note: The home can sleep 12 total, but some guests will share beds. There are also an air mattress and the living room couch.

☕ Inside: the kitchen comes ready to cook, with a dishwasher, air fryer, blender, and a stocked coffee bar (K-Cups, tea, creamers, syrups). AC units in the bedrooms and kitchen plus fans keep summer nights comfortable, and the 55" smart TV has YouTube TV and Netflix.

🌅 Outside: a gas grill in the side yard with a full propane tank, a hammock for the afternoon, and a backyard that runs down to the water. A short walk down the hill brings you to the lake's edge for sunsets, and guests are welcome to enjoy the shared dock down by the water. A boat slip can occasionally be rented if one is available, just ask.

🌊 On the lake: Indian Lake Park (end of Clason Rd) has a sandy shoreline with summer lifeguards, Shore Park (85 Shore Dr) has the big beach and a renovated bathhouse, and Morgan Landing (580 Grove St) has the public boat ramp, a fishing dock, and picnic tables. All are minutes away.

Please use caution on the backyard hill down to the water, it is steep.

Guests have private access to Unit 1 (the upstairs unit). Unit 2 is a separate basement unit with a separate entrance and may be occupied at times—please do not enter. Please stay out of the attic. Guests are welcome to use the backyard and may walk down to the lake (steep hill—use caution).

Indian Lake is one of Worcester's most scenic neighborhoods. Quiet, residential, centered on the water, with sunset views and good walking. You are about 10 minutes from downtown Worcester, the DCU Center, and Polar Park, and close to WPI, Clark, and Holy Cross. Boston is about 1 hour east and Providence about 1 hour south. The home works as a comfortable lakefront base for families, groups, longer stays, college and hospital visits, and regional sightseeing.

Getting around is easy by car or rideshare, and Worcester also has public transit options.
• Car: Most guests drive — it's the easiest way to get to downtown, colleges, DCU Center, Polar Park, and errands.
• Rideshare: Uber/Lyft are available in Worcester and are a convenient option for nights out or events.
• Public transit (bus): Worcester's city bus network is run by the Worcester Regional Transit Authority (WRTA) with routes throughout Worcester and nearby towns, with a main hub by Union Station.
• Train + intercity buses: Worcester Union Station offers a transportation hub with bus/coach connections and is the downtown gateway for regional travel; the Framingham/Worcester rail line connects Worcester with downtown Boston stops.
• Taxis: Traditional taxi service is available (including local providers like Yellow Cab).
• Walking & biking: Great for lakeside walks and neighborhood strolls. Worcester is actively building bike infrastructure, and you'll see marked bike lanes in parts of the city.
• Airport: Worcester Regional Airport has ground transportation options including ride apps, taxis, and WRTA public transit connections.

Airports and longer drives in normal traffic:
- Worcester Regional Airport: about 13 minutes (5.5 miles). JetBlue, American, and Delta serve Florida and New York-area destinations.
- Boston Logan International Airport: about 1 hour east via I-90 (tolls apply).
- T.F. Green International Airport (Providence area): about 56 minutes south via MA-146 / I-295.

Important notes before booking:
• Base price includes up to 10 guests. Guest #11 and #12 are available for an additional $50/night per person and must be included on the reservation (max 12).
• Pet-friendly (dogs only): $150 flat pet fee per stay (up to 2 dogs).
• Allergy note: This home is pet-friendly; even with thorough cleaning, pet dander may be present.
• Unit 2 is currently unoccupied: Guests have private access to Unit 1 (upstairs). Unit 2 is a separate basement unit that may have normal residential noise when occupied.
• Lake access: Backyard hill down to the water is steep—use caution, especially with kids and dogs.
• Security: Exterior cameras monitor front/back entryways only.
