My wife and I stayed for two weeks visiting family in the Worcester area. The apartment was ideal for us, as it is in a quiet and safe new residential neighborhood that is only a half-mile walk to the Cathedral and the start of the city centre. It also has a convenient reserved angled parking spot on the lightly traveled one-way street and was easy to reach off the main roads. We like to walk, so the charming paved path along the Severn River towards the city was something we did every day (we also got our exercise climbing the two flights of stairs to the unit – there is no elevator in the building).
The one-bedroom apartment was roomy for two people and thoughtfully furnished (see their photos). The design of the nearly floor-to ceiling windows let in plenty of light during the day, and four doors that led to a balcony or viewing areas could be opened to let in a cooing breeze after warm days. The two beds (twin only) in the separate bedroom were extremely comfortable and the windows have excellent sound insulation, so we slept well. Since the building is not adjacent to a busy road and there are no late-night services nearby, it was remarkably quiet at night.
We used the completely furnished kitchen to prepare most of our meals (large full-sized fridge with freezer, oven, range, microwave, toaster). There is an excellent Waitrose (with a large parking lot) a mile and a half away and the main Marks & Spencer in the city centre was less than a mile walk. The unit also has a combination washer/dryer and a dishwasher.
In summary, an excellent choice for a longer stay, if you don't mind two flights of stairs or using twin beds.
