Gorgeous 2 bed apartment with large terrace overlooking Combesgate Beach

  • Overcombe is a wonderful two bedroom seafront apartment has views across the entire bay of Woolacombe and overlooks Combesgate beach, a popular surfing beach one end of Woolacombe Bay. It sleeps four comfortably in two bedrooms.You will find it hard to beat this outstanding location with some of the best views in the resort.Overcombe has a large lounge with a brown leather suite (3- and 2-seater) where you can sit to take in the view if you are not outside on the south facing terrace enjoying it! A digital TV, DVD player, music system and Wi-Fi are available along with a variety of books.There are also TVs in both bedrooms. There is a fold-away table and chairs in the living room as an alternative to dining outside or in the kitchen.The dining table in the kitchen seats four and the kitchen has a washing-machine, microwave, fridge/freezer and full-size dishwasher. The front bedroom has an extensive sea view with a king size bed and TV. Sit up in bed and see the sea! Simply wonderful!The 2nd bedroom has 3' twin beds and has a small en-suite shower-room, and TV. Both bedrooms are tastefully decorated in keeping with this lovely coastal setting. There is also a family bathroom with shower and separate bath. Saturday Changeover. Bed linen and towels provided although you will need to bring your own beach towels. Parking for 1 car. Check-in after 3pm and check out by 10am. Heating and hot water inclusive. Sorry no pets. Travel cot & highchair provided.‍Parking strictly for one car only. Storage for boards and wet suits in store area just inside the garage (owners have the remainder locked with their things). There are staggered steps from car parking area to apartment, if you suffer from mobility issues this property may not suit you.

A great place to stay.

We have enjoyed many lovely stays in Overcombe. The views are superb and it is well positioned for walking into Woolacombe village and along the SW Coast path. It is cosy even when the weather is inclement and is well equipped.

Wonderful apartment

This apartment is in a fantastic location with stunning views along the bay, it's located close to the local amenities and is fully equipped with everything you would need for your holiday. All in all a great stay and we hope to return soon.

Never get tired of that amazing view!

Our favourite area to stay in Woolacombe with great views, pretty beach coves and beautiful walks to Morthoe. Overcombe provides everything you need for a home from home stay, always feel very relaxed there. Fantastic views from the lounge and bedroom, we will be back soon!

Excellent accommodation and location

Overcombe is a lovely accommodation, with everything that you need there to make your stay comfortable. The view from the front bedroom is lovely and also sitting in the wicker chairs in the lounge gives a great view of the sea.

We have used Holiday Home Hunter for many years now and the service has always been very friendly and efficient. We have also stayed in Overcombe for many years. The views are spectacular and the apartment is well equipped and cosy. We are looking forward to returning in the near future.

Overcombe is in a wonderful position with fantastic views over the village and beach. It is always spotlessly clean with everything you can possibly want or need. The people who manage it are always very good, nothing is too much trouble. We have bern coming for quite a few years, and will continue to do so

Another Amazing Holiday

This was our fourth time to Woolacombe and the second stay at Overcombe, having stayed two previous years in Cliff House. We love it here. Overcombe is fabulous with stunning views across the bay. Woolacombe is small but offers everything that you might need for a week or so away. Access to the house is not for the faint hearted - you need to be prepared to walk up a steep hill, which fortunately we love doing. We will be returning again for sure! Thank you for another amazing holiday.

Had a lovely break in this fantastic property. Great location with amazing views. Property itself was spotlessly clean, comfortable and well equipped. This is the 2nd time we have booked through Holiday Home Hunter and the service is excellent will a really comprehensive level of property/area information provided.

Beautiful location and a great place for looking out when the weather isn't great

This was our 2nd visit. The property is well equipped and in a great location. Situated at the quieter end of town with beautiful views across the bay. Apartment is very comfortable and we have enjoyed both visits. The property would benefit from some TLC and in depth cleaning in some areas but nothing dreadful to report.

Another wonderful stay

Excellent in every respect. Our sister in law joined us for two nights and she continually remarked about the stunning location and comfort of the flat. New (to us) bathroom lovely and bright.

Great views!

The flat was clean, comfortable and spacious. Some nice walks can be done from the flat to nearby cliff paths. As others have mentioned, parking is a bit tight, and it is a steep climb from the parking up to the property. But what makes this property special are the views, which are fantastic. We enjoyed many hours just sitting and looking out of the windows, especially when the weather was poor. Overall, highly recommended, and would happily stay again.

4 adults. Easily accommodated. Stunning views. Storage space for bicycles / boards in garage. It is a walk to both woolacombe & mortehoe but we preferred this location. Would definitely go back

We had a fantastic weeks holiday at Overcombe. The view was breathtaking. The accommodation was very clean and cosy, and had everything in it we needed, It was very comfortable and plenty of space for clothes etc, We will definitely be going back.

Lovely location for a break away

A very comfortable property with stunning views out over the cliffs to the beach and sea. If the weather co-operates the outside seating is perfect for enjoying dinner and the loungers are great for chilling. Location is away from the business of the main beach so is a relaxing place. The property is pretty well equipped - we cooked 5 nights and most mornings. The view from bed is great even when it is raining. When it isn't too windy having the doors open and listening to the sea when in the lounge is a must. We have booked again.

Lovely holiday in Woolacombe

Overcombe is a lovely apartment on the ground floor ( though if you park in allotted parking space there is a full flight of stairs up to the flat , with rail, if your neighbours agree you can access on the level if they’re happy for you to drop off on their drive , this is what we did as Mum s mobility not great) . Once inside there is everything you need, beautifully clean and fantastic sea views. You get the sun morning til night, can watch the sun set on the terrace. 10 min walk along esplanade into Woolacombe and 10 min up the hill to Morthoe. Walking distance to restaurants and pubs. Easy access to coastal paths and other lovely walks. We had a lovely holiday here would highly recommend, so long as you have good mobility

An Apartment in an Idyllic location

Overcombe - on the hillside between Woolacombe & Mortehoe - is situated in an idyllic location looking South along the 2 1/2 mile stretch of Woolacombe sands & Sea towards Croyde. The apartment is well furnished, comfortable & very homely. Very suitable for those who just like to relax, or for the more energetic a perfect place for coastal walking, and for surfer enthusiasts! ( The only possible downside for those advanced in years(?) may be the flight of external steps upto the property.

great views

A nice comfortable apartment with excellent views. Well equipped and spacious. The commanding views over Woolacombe are unbeatable. Parking is tight and requires quite a bit of manoevering that will test your skills. The approach steps are very steep and lengthy so may be difficult for anyone with mobility issues, well worth the climb though.

Fabulous week

We had another super week in Overcombe. The weather and views were as fabulous/dramatic as ever and we hardly used the car all week! The measures put in place by Holiday Home Hunter as a result of Covid 19 were impressive in their practicality and detail and we felt very safe both in the apartment and out and about.

Rooms with a view!

Overcombe is a self catering apartment in an idyllic setting with superb views of Woolacombe Bay on the North Devon Coast. The property is part of a small complex built on the hillside between Woolacombe & the small village of Morthoe, and is the perfect Residence in which to relax,unwind, from where there are pleasant walks - and of course swimming! (the only possible downside for the elderly or infirmed are the 25 external steps upto the apartment). I thoroughly recommend this holiday let.
