We’ve been staying in vrbos for many years and this was an average house. The location was great. We had a dog and the patio in the pictures shows access to the backyard which we didn’t have. They could use dinner knives as the ones there have no blades. The outlet in the bathroom kept blowing when trying to use a blowdryer. Otherwise it was a lovely stay and would recommend to others for a quiet retreat yet close to everything for a well rounded trip.

Myself and my partner really enjoyed our 4-night stay in the smaller half of Brook Cottage. Everything was spotlessly clean when we arrived, it is plenty spacious for two, nicely presented and very well furnished and equipped. There was nothing lacking. The cottage is set back from the road so was nice and quiet. We didn’t use the patio because of the chilly early April weather, but that too was a nice space. Located at the top end of town, it was only a short walk to shops and restaurants. Overall it was a very comfortable and cosy place to stay and we enjoyed the proximity to lovely scenic countryside and hiking. Chelsea was very responsive and easy to make arrangements with. We wouldn’t hesitate staying here again.

My wife's and my 2nd stay here in 2 years, it's a wonderful property. Short walk to town center but also secluded from the bustle, tucked away at the end of a longish driveway. Private patio and the fire pit made for cozy fall evenings. Very responsive property owner wonderful to deal with. We'll be booking again for next year.

This is one of my favorite spots that I have stayed at. My wife and I had a lovely time here. The location is perfect. It’s super convenient that you are on the main strip (Tinker st.); But on the quiet end of town. Restaurants , ice cream , and coffee are hop skip and a jump away. Leave your car in the driveway as everything is accessible by foot..looking forward to our next stay.

We always enjoy returning to Brook Cottage Too so much. I feel myself relaxing as soon as we pull in – there is just such a peaceful vibe. Sitting on the little private patio, gazing out towards Overlook Mountain, is a particular favorite. You're close enough to everything in the village (you can walk to all the shops and restaurants), yet it still feels private. We can't wait to return!

This is the best VRBO we’ve ever stayed at. Unbelievably clean, comfortable bed, and the kitchen had more than enough furnishings to cook full meals. The two fireplaces made for comfortable evenings and the outdoor accommodations were an added bonus. Of course we’d stay here again not if we were just visiting Woodstock but if we were visiting towns close to here we’d stay here and then drive to where ever we were visiting. That’s how comfortable the cottage is!

The only complaint I had was that the bedroom is upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs. I stayed for almost two weeks and it is not convenient for dressing and for middle of the night bathroom trips. This is a duplex and for part of my stay I had very noisy neighbors.

It rained during most of our stay, so thank goodness the property was so comfortable and cozy. Lovely clean accommodations. Short walking distance to all the best that downtown Woodstock has to offer. Short driving distance to some incredible nature hiking. When the rain subsided, we enjoyed relaxing on the private patio with our coffee and books by the gas fire pit. We definitely recomment and will for sure book again. Property manager/owner responded promptly and cordially in all communication and was very helpful.

Brook Cottage Too feels like our home away from home in Woodstock. We’ve been returning regularly for the past few years, sometimes for a long weekend, sometimes a week, and we always hate to leave. The cottage is really perfect for two people, with a lovely setting - a babbling brook out back, a lovely private little patio with a gas fire pit and grill, and a tree-lined yard with a view towards Overlook Mountain. It’s a quick stroll into the heart of the village, with easy access to everything the Woodstock area has to offer. Judy and Chelsea make everything easy, and we always feel welcome. We hope to keep returning as often as we can!

My partner and I live in nyc so we were looking for a city escape and we found that in this space! There’s so much light. We had all the windows open and had clean fresh air flowing through the place. We rarely heard our neighbors - only sometimes when they exited via their own door entrance. The location is perfect. You walk out and you’re in the village and close walks to all the restaurants, cafes and shoppes. The grocery store is a bit further away but totally doable by foot! Hikes were all within quick driving distances. We had 1 issue with the internet and the host was able to communicate with me instantly to remedy the problem. There’s a cute bar just on the other side of the property - they do live music into the night which was nice to hear but also loud enough to sound like you’re in nyc. We turned on a noise machine and slept wonderfully on the bed! The little private courtyard with the firepit and grill was a perfect area to sit back and read for hours. We will be back!!

Fantastic little house, very clean and well equipped. The comfy king size bed is upstairs… but the bathroom is downstairs. For me, that would be a rent-again dealbreaker. If that wouldn’t bother you, don’t hesitate to rent this gem and it’s very helpful property manager.

This cottage was small but mighty - well-appointed and well laid out so it makes the most of the space. The only disappointment was realizing it doesn’t have access to the backyard/stream - you can see it, but the space is for use by the larger half of the cottage.

This was one of our best experiences with short-term rentals yet. The cottage is everything you see in the pics and listing, just beautiful, comfortable, clean and well done. Incredibly convenient to town. Very responsive host- we would recommend highly and plan to return ourselves.
