"The Hummingbird Cottage was a very pleasant and peaceful retreat in Ivanhoe agricultural territory. It is close to Visalia, Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park. Their hiking trail around the orange orchards and Sycamore trees was a short but enjoyable walk. Of course the highlight was the hummingbirds flying from nearby trees to the feeders! The host was very attentive to our requests and there were plenty of sleeping options in the cottage. Very charming!"

"The Hut was exactly as advertised! If you're looking for a place to stay in the SNP area, this location is the place to be! We loved the outdoor environment, grilling over charcoal and the solitude. We enjoyed a full day of hiking in SNP and came prepared to take full use of the outdoor space. I'll certainly visit again. "This home is in a great location for visiting Kings Canyon National Park. The living room, dining area, and kitchen are spacious and cozy. However, the upstairs sleeping area was disappointing; upon entering the room, there are no working lights near the doorway - we had to feel our way in the dark to turn on a lamp on the bedside table. The interior of the home could be somewhat cleaner. The home appears quite old, and in need of some additional maintenance: it was hard to find a 3-prong...

"Property is situated at a very convenient location (within 15 mins drive to the Sequoia national park south entrance and close to shops, restaurants. Cottage is beautiful and well maintained. It has nice outdoor space for kids to play and have fun. You also get a private river beach access which is across the street and it was perfect place for kids to have fun at water and for us relax in the evening.
