"Perfect place for an escape from the city. Love the location, it felt like we were in the middle of nowhere but we were actually a short drive from town. Beautiful view of the sunset from the back porch, we saw tons of fireflies, and enjoyed making a fire in the fire pit! We were a party of 8 and we had so much space, plenty of beds and tons of seating!"

"We came down to go to Mammoth Cave. The property was great. Our son loved feeding the animals and using the playscape daily. The farm dog Lola is the best, she greeted us every morning and each night. It felt like a home away from home. We would definitely stay again! "

"Almost Heaven is a beautiful, fully equipped cabin on an amazing property. So comfortable and the setting is lovely. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the property's pond and hiking trails. We absolutely loved the animals near the cabin, enjoyed being able to feed them, and the greeting from the resident pup. It would be paradise for children! "

"I originally needed a trip Oct. 2023. Due to unfortunate circumstances, We had to move our dates. I called Wayne and he immediately pushed our dates out. I needed early check-in as our arrival time was early morning and their check-in was 4:00 pm. I called the night before, he charged me the early check-in fee and done. "The pond is so close to the front door we could watch the turtles scurry around in the water. The kids had such a good time just being kids and playing as loud as they wanted. The kitchen was perfect for cooking big family meals. Beds were comfy, the whole place was spotless. We were in heaven. Check-in was super easy, owner was very friendly and our communication was always friendly. We wished we had booked a longer trip!"

"Overall, we enjoyed the condo. It was roomy (1500 sq ft), clean, and in a very convenient location. We liked that it was all on the main level. It was close to everything (downtown, restaurants). Parking is close to the door and is dedicated to the complex, which made unloading, loading, and taking off to visit the area very convenient.Communication could have been better, but that is about the only nitpick. Overall, we would definitely recommend."
