Country Hospitality
It was lovely to arrive at Peppercorn Cottage after a long drive and work day. We were greeted with chocolates, sour dough, cookies and essentials such as fresh local milk, butter and tea, coffee, shampoo/ conditioner. It was nice to walk around to the local Wongarbon Tavern and be given a locals welcome. Thanks for making our first weekend near Dubbo comfortable and welcoming

Quaint Cottage
We had a lovely relaxing stay with our Golden Retriever in this cosy cottage set in a quaint little town not far from Dubbo which was full of charm and gorgeous gardens to enjoy.

Cosy, comfortable, clean and pet friendly!
Our family of 4 and 2 small dogs were very comfortable at peppercorn cottage. Upon arrival we received a warm welcome and quick tour from Tim. Suzie had popped the heater on so the cottage was warm and cosy from the moment we stepped in! The courtyard was great for our dogs and the cottage provided everything we needed during our short stay. The breakfast provisions were delicious and greatly appreciated. We enjoyed strolling around the village at sunset. Thank you for a delightful stay!

Dog friendly
This cottage was very clean, great ammenities and awesome for our little dog with his own backyard plus the bread and goodies left for breakfast was a beautiful touch.

Wonderful Dog Friendly Zoo Accommodation
The hosts were delightful and friendly. The cottage was clean and well resourced. We used the cottage as a jump off point for the Dubbo Zoo and it worked so well. We took our puppy with us and it was a wonderful dog friendly space, with a fully enclosed safe yard. We had a wonderful stay and look forward to booking again.

Country Getaway
Quiet location about 10-15mins out of Dubbo. Recommend The Ploughman's Rest Tavern, a short walk away, for meals. It's not open every night, however, the cottage is well set up for cooking & bbq provided. Host provides breakfast and a well-stocked kitchen.

Country vibes with modern living
Our short stay at Peppercorn cottage was just what the doctor ordered. A great spot to relax after a long day of driving. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a spot to put your feet up and relax in peaceful surrounds.

Stylish comfortable property
A great place to spend quality time if you are wanting to stay in and self-cater. So many lovely inclusions. Loved the view out to the garden from the living area. Such a lovely quiet spot also. We were both really impressed and the beds were really comfortable.

Neighbourhood delightful. Location was our mistake: looking for handy to Western Plains Zoo, and confused ourselves with the map. Charming host, and the recommended local pub served a good meal for our last evening.

A hidden gem
Tucked away off the main road between Dubbo and Geurie, with Wellington Caves just a stone's throw away in the other direction, this is a great location to while away a few peaceful days - or longer - in this beautiful part of NSW. Tim and Suzie couldn't be more friendly and the cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Air conditioning is a great addition, the wet room a fabulous modern touch and the traditional cottage garden just delightful. Wonderful that such a well presented property is also dog-friendly! Don't miss a chance to stay here.

Great dog-friendly property for transiting from Victoria to Queensland
Scrupulously clean, comfortable cottage that’s dog friendly. Perfect stopover for our drive from Melbourne to the Sunshine Coast. Incredibly friendly hosts & lovely touch with provisions for brekky before our very early start to the second leg of the journey. Highly recommend.

Loved it!
We didn’t appreciate that the property is located about 10km out of town, but once we got our heads around that we absolutely loved it there. Better than staying in Dubbo - so quiet & beautiful. And the property was perfect for the people people of our family, as well as our canine people. Would not hesitate to recommend it. Just wish we had more time to spend in the property as well as the location.

Lovely little cottage
Great place for a dog friendly short stay. Lovely garden visited by beautiful birds in a quiet village not far from the highway. Well set up with all you will need to self cater and tastefully decorated.

Suzie and Tim were great hosts and provided a great cottage for us and pets. The yard was a just what the dogs needed after a long journey. Suzie was quick at responding to our messages and we would definitely book again when going through Dubbo..

Wonderful Wongarbon
We were glad we decided on 2 nights at Pepper Tree Cottage to break the long hot drive home from Queensland. A delightful cool, comfortable and restful cottage and pet friendly and a warm welcome. A short walk to the excellent bistro. Friendly locals Interesting local history and the impression of a caring community. A memorable stay and we hope to go back

Dog Friendly Dubbo Stay
Tim and Suzy home was terrific to stay overnight with our fur babies. They recommended the local bistro just a short walk from house and the meals were outstanding. We return to Victoria in a couple of months and will endeavour to stay here once more, Cannot recommend highly enough *********

Aussie Hospitality at its Finest
Tim and Suzie made our stay especially comfortable at Peppercorn Cottage. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen and cozy accommodations. Tim enhanced our stay with a trip to see the village mob of kangaroos. He is well versed in the local history of the area and quite knowledgeable of the flora and fauna. It was a perfect stay for our first days in Australia.

Country Stay with all the Extras
Tim and Suzanne have really done a beautiful job with the property. It’s a country home in a beautiful town on the outskirts of Dubbo. They supply all those little extras that you may have left at home and it’s very quiet, perfect place to escape the city. They were extremely accommodating with our family; child and dog and even went the extra mile with providing a seperate bed for our child.

Out of Dubbo quite a way which meant a bit of a drive back in to get a meal. The address didn’t come up as ‘Dubbo’ on google maps but as a small town outside of Dubbo. Lovely to be out in the country though despite adding a bit to a day of driving.

Gorgeous little cottage
We had an amazing break at peppercorn cottage, it was quiet and peaceful and a great secure place to leave our dog whilst we took our daughter to Dubbo zoo. If your ever going through Dubbo I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone going through Dubbo and we will be back for sure.

Such a gorgeous heritage property with a beautIful homely feel. Hosts, Suzie and Tim Gratton are just beautiful and truly know and understand what it means to have guests staying at their property. Gorgeous property well thought lovely owners
We arrived at Peppeercorn Cortage around 9:45pm after driving up from Melbourne with our 2 dogs. We were greeted with a smile from Tim who happily showed us around and let our dogs run around the backyard. Tim and Suzie are both so wonderful, friendly, courteous, professional and helpful. They truly understand and take the time to make their visitors welcome. When we left the next morning, Suzie ever so kindly offered us a ‘coffee for the road,’ before we headed on our next journey to Brisbane. Highly recommend this gorgeous property with gorgeous people who really care. Thank you Suzie and Tim from Lorraine & Scott and the pups! :-)
